B-but I really did! I wrote up a small guide and anything! Where is this guide, Huh? HUH??? HUUUUHHH?!?!?!?!?So... what if I were to face you in a Pika ditto... AND WIN!? Oh, the drama! ....then I would beat you. I would take a picture of your face, print it out, glue it to a small animal, and beat said animal until it was nothing but a mushy, ground-up paste. Then, picture and all, I would take the mess and mail it to you mother's house.

I betcha I could beat any of you with Pit. Of course, I'm only making this claim because the Wii in our dorm room can't be connected to the internet. But I'd put up a fight, I bet.
Actually, I could probably beat any two of you in a team match assuming my teammate wasn't retarded.

B-but I really did! I wrote up a small guide and anything! Where is this guide, Huh? HUH??? HUUUUHHH?!?!?!?!?Now, here's the thing. After I gave it to MVG, I was stupid enough to delete it off my computer. If you want to see it, you have to ask MVG for it. So... what if I were to face you in a Pika ditto... AND WIN!? Oh, the drama! ....then I would beat you. I would take a picture of your face, print it out, glue it to a small animal, and beat said animal until it was nothing but a mushy, ground-up paste. Then, picture and all, I would take the mess and mail it to you mother's house. I guess I shouldn't use Pika, in that case. >.>

Here are a few more combos you can do with Snake:
Dthrow > Utilt Dthrow > Tech Chase > Grab A > Ftilt > A > Ftilt > A > Ftilt... A > Ftilt > Utilt Ftilt > Utilt Usmash > Grab in place(Don't throw until the cannon lands on your opponent) Jump > UpB almost immediately after(Use to go high above your opponent to avoid getting grabbed.) Utilt > Utilt(At low percents) Utilt > Uair(At moderate percents)
Some of these combos are escapable, simply because there might be some lag between attacks, or your opponent has superior DI. Figure out which ones work best for you.
Another tip about Snake, if you fail to reach the ledge using the Cypher, you'll probably end up falling to your doom. Set a C4 in midair and make it blow you up. It'll launch you upwards AND you'll get your Cypher back.

I have found something not long ago. I have found someone, too. They're a marvelous person. A joy to be around. A joy to watch. A joy to even speak his very name. He is truly a shining example of grace and beauty, a creature with all of the perfections that nature has to offer, a creature is an ode to the wonders that can be found throughout the world. I have known him for a time now. I was reluctant. Reluctant to approach him. I feared the rejection. I feared that he was hiding a knife, ready to push it in my back when he got a chance. But finally, I made my move. And he was kind to me, and loving, and supportive, and so much more. I looked upon him as he frolicked all around, and I couldn't help but smile. And I like to think that he smiled back. I wish for us to be together forever, for he has put his key into my heart and released all of the love that I have to give. Sometimes, it seems like that his simple presence alone has made me a better person. Oh, how I love just to utter his very name, just to hear my own voice echo out such lovely lovely words... Plus, he's black. And you know what they say.

C-can I give you a few G&W tips before you make DSmash and Dair spam your main strategy with him? ...hey... I spam on side smash, too. Also, sure why not? Huzzah! Time to become so Norcal pro! The first thing you should know about Game and Watch is that he's in the top 5 Brawlers, and for good reason, too! Game and Watch comes jam packed with a metric ton of disjointed hitboxes that last ridiculously long times, and are just a complete pain in the ass. In fact, he even has a super advanced technique that lets him live to insane percentages, despite being one of the lightest characters in the game. Learn this bastard, and you'll give even ME a hard time. For the record, disjointed attacks are attacks that involve the use of weapons and such, and it won't hurt you if it gets hit. Step 1: Combos Combos Combos!-Dthrow > DSmash -Dthrow > A > Grab > Dthrow > A > Grab...(This will continue to go on indefinitely until your opponent eventually escapes.) -Dthrow > Dash to your left or right > USmash (This will punish anyone who tries to roll away from you. 50% success rate, because they might roll in the opposite direction.) -SH Bair (Nearly impossible to punish. Always use this in place of Fair. ALWAYS. Turn around and RAR your opponent's ass.) -SH Bair > DSmash (if the final hit of Bair doesn't connect.) -Nair (Use when your opponent is below you. Try to avoid using Uair. It's stupid.) -Uair > Uair > Uair > ... > Uair > Charge USmash (I've fallen for this before. Mindgames are a bitch. Use at high percents. Charge the USmash for as long as possible to give your opponent time to land. String together as many Uairs as you want. They don't do any damage at all, so your opponent won't waste their time trying to avoid it.) -Spotdodge > DSmash -Dair (Always use when above your opponent. Even the most professional opponents have a hard time punishing this.) -Dair > DSmash (In case the Dair is somehow dodged.) -A > Dtilt -UpB (Use when far below your opponent. G&W can still move after using this attack, so it's alright if you miss.) -UpB > Dair (What were you expecting?) Step 2: Advice-Try not to abuse G&W smashes too much. Move decay is a huge bitchslap to people. At most, only abuse TWO out of the three smashes, and reserve the third one for kills. -I suggest holding the DSmash for kills, as it hits the easiest, and has a massive hitbox. -FSmash has a long lasting hitbox. -USmash has a deceptively large hitbox. -All of G&W's smashes kill Mario at about 80%-100%+. You may need to adjust the percent to use smashes depending on how heavy/light the character is. Step 3: Advanced Techniques- Bucket Braking- This is the one and only advanced technique G&W has, and it allows him to, simply put, NOT DIE. Here's how it works. As soon as G&W is hit with a move that would normally kill, mash A as fast as you can. DO NOT USE THE CONTROL STICK; YOU NEED TO USE NAIR HERE. Immediately after you use Nair, use DownB as quickly as possible. You will completely stop, both vertically and horizontally.(Note: This will not work if the bucket is full.) Here's a video explaining Bucket Braking.

Double Post, sorry. Here's the Lucas guide.
It'll be extra good, because I actually use him!
Part 1: Combos Nair (For combos and damage) Fair (For combos and damage) Nair > FSmash (If the last hit of Nair does not hit) Dthrow > Utilt (At low percentages) Normal hopped Dair from ground (Moving over your opponent) A > Dtilt Dtilt > DSmash Dtilt > Ftilt A > Grab Fair > USmash (Make sure the USmash WILL hit before using it) Fair > SideB UpB (Use when your opponent is off the stage. Keep it close to you in case your opponent evades it, and rocket yourself to the other side of the field so they don't nail you while you can't do anything.)
Some of these combos may or may not work, depending on the opposing character and your opponent's reaction times, DI's, etc. Try them out, and see what you can do.
Part 2: Advice - USmash has an enormous, somewhat long lasting hitbox above Lucas's head, and a little behind him. Catch your opponents off guard with it. - If USmash connects with your opponents shield, they will be shoved a large distance backwards. If you do it near a ledge, they'll fall over and grab the ledge, making your USmash a relatively safe attack, in that regard. - The third hit of DSmash has a larger hitbox then the first two. - FSmash is Lucas's fastest smash, and a serious kill move. Don't abuse it until the damage is right. Also, it reflects projectiles. - If you land on the ground before Dair finishes, you will experience some heavy ending lag, and you'll be wide open. Be careful of that.
Part 3: Advanced Technique - Magnet Pull- In order to do this, you must have the CStick of your Gamecube controller set to 'Special' instead of 'Smash'. You can change controller configurations for a set name by going to options or something like that. If you don't have a Gamecube controller, you won't be able to do this.
Aight, it's really simple. Using the CStick, use PK Fire, then use PSI Magnet. You will go flying across the screen horizontally in the direction away from the PK Fire you shot. This is an extremely good recovery technique, and it can save you the risk of SD'ing from using PK Thunder to recover.

Oh joy, I get to explain two of the hardest characters in the game. >_> I'll start with Meta-Knight. Meta-KnightBefore I even get into the explanation, allow me to let you know that Meta-Knight is regarded as the best character in the game. That's right, he's NUMBER 1 on the tier listing. Master this guy, and people will fear and hate you for generations to come. Alright, Meta-Knight has such a messed up way of fighting, I have to break this down differently, so watch yourself. Step 1: Approaching (Listed in order of reliability) - Tornado (Standard B Move)- Mash B a lot and move towards your opponent with the control stick. The tornado is deemed to have some of the highest priority in the game, and is only cancelled by a few moves. Here's the thing, though. The tornado moves left and right too quickly for your opponent to do anything, and if they get hit with even one bit of the tornado, they're stuck in for the entire duration. The tornado is something you want to abuse liberally against your opponents, so do it. You want to stay close to the ground(by pressing B slowly) until your opponent is stuck in the tornado, then move upwards(by pressing B rapidly) to get them as high as possible in the air. - Glide in- There are two ways to start MK's glide; either hold X after your second jump, or use UpB. Either one's fine. Anyway, get as close to your opponent as possible with a glide and press A to execute your powerful glide attack. Immediately follow up with a DSmash, because if the glide attack missed, your opponent's going to try to do something about it. - Run in; use an aerial- Just run at your opponent and short hop a Fair. W/e. It's simple, but it works. - Dash Grab > DthrowStep 2: Close Range- DSmash- Meta-Knight's most irritating attack to all. DSmash comes out on Frame 5 after execution(That's 1/12th of a second; holy shit.) and it's got massive power behind it. Some people like to save it as their kill move; others like to use it to build up damage. You can decide which strategy works better, but just remember that move decay will weaken the last 10 attacks you produced and hit with. - Dtilt- It makes your opponent stunned for a long enough time for you to dash grab them. 50% chance of tripping your opponent. (Not a kill move, but good damage racking.) - SH Dairs- I don't know why this is so hard to punish, but it is. Jump over your opponent and do a Dair. It's funny. And painful. - Ftilt- This move has stupidly long range, so use it to annoy your opponent. Ftilt has three consecutive hits, so remember to press A three times, to get everything in. Step 3: Kill Moves- DSmash- UpB- This move will kill at early percents. It's sorta hard to hit with, though, so try to practice it a little. - Glide Attack- I have no idea why this move is so powerful, but it is. It kills, and even funnier, if it connects with a smash, you don't take damage. The attack is just cancelled out. - Nair- This will only kill on the initial hitbox of the attack. After that, you're just a damage racking spinning ball. - The ideal kill percentage for Meta-Knight to use these moves is about 100%, on Mario. Adjust this number based on the weight of your opponent. This was just a basic guide to Meta-Knight. If you master these basics, and want to continue learning onward, check out this place.
