MVG, you didn't count peoples' votes for themselves, which would have been fine except for the fact that there's more than one place being voted on, meaning your opinion still matters in your own rankings.

So if I read this right, me being in position 17 would be eligible to fight the person in the #10 spot or beneath? And if we go by how Candy positioned things that would mean I could issue a challenge to Psibat? (I counted from Markus down) And lets say if I win would that automatically put me in his number ten spot? Then from there on I would have to defeat the next person above me till I get to the number 1 spot. Correct me if I don't seem to be following on track here. So its like this but simpler.

You move up to the space of the brawler you challenged. I believe that you can also only challenger the Brawler directly above you. However, there are only 10 spots, so you challenge #10 immediately.

so what happens when multiple people want to fight #10 and im not sure if we figured out exactly how fights would go down.

So I've compiled this thing to try to make things more easier. I'm not sure if I'm doing this right since its the first time I've actually put together a battle listings and positions chart. Here is another example but with names and stuff on it. Keep in mind I did this off the way Candy had placed things so the listing is mainly based around his..list. I think the problem is having multiple brawlers on one position. So like Grent suggested earlier why not just have a multi-way combat battle? Like Number 15, 14, and 13, fighting to occupy number 10 have a go. They could do a roundabout where each person gets a turn but the defender has to counter attack. Or a free for all where you could also try to take out the opposition as well as the lead number you're trying to fight for. The winner is determined by majority vote so if 15 gets majority he moves up to position 10. Pos 14 moves to 15, 13 to 14, and 10 moves to position 12. Cause position 11 hasn't issued a challenge he will remain at his current position. Oh also there can only be 17 positions total since that is the total amount of people who wanted to be in the battle/brawler rankings. Unless I'm wrong then go ahead and question me on this and I'll try to give an answer. Really though these are just ideas to simplify things. If there is still anything wrong (And I know there is) with how I'm trying to place things speak now, or forever hold your peace.

All this is way too much for my teeny tiny brain to comprehend, but it looks nice Nitro (btw, I don't have an "h" at the end of my name, even though my Skype username is "DJGramPah")

First of all, Nitro, I'll probably arrange these in a bbcode table so that we won't have to edit an image every time. Second, pretty much only through #11 is gonna be relevant, so I doubt anyone below that would even be listed. Hell, I might not even list them. Third, if someone is knocked down from #10, he (or she I guess) gets moved down to #11, replacing the old #11.

These things are way too complicated for me, I don't understand a jack shit, but if you're #12+ do you have to challenge #10 to get onto the list, or can you challenge, let's say #6 directly?

you can only challenge the spot directly above you unless you are >11 which in that case you can only challenge 10 Right?

I thought there was no point in listing anyone below 10, because everyone below 10 is automatically in rank 11, and get into the ranks by challenging the rank 10. So, dozens of people could all fit into rank 11 because being in rank 11 means you're basically not in the ranks at all, like this:

Anyone who hasn't voted on the ties has 24 hours to vote before I compile the list.

can we change that to one hour? :3 Nope, because some people (i.e. the Brits) are sleeping. Twenty-four hours is fair notice for all. Yes I am generalizing, I know it's only midnight. Yes, I see you, Psibat. Shaddap.

I think Des had a cool idea with ranking pictures, though I think the size of his makes it a tad unmanageable. What do you guys think of 600x100?

Alright guys, here's the starting rankings: 1) Marckus 2) Shackles 3) DiabloKing 4) Balto-Boy 5) Gunsmith 6) McJesus 7) MVG 8) Brianna 9) Rety 10) Psibat Even with the tiebreaker votes, Gunny vs McJ vs MVG was super close. The difference between Gunny and MVG was 2 points. If you're curious how I tallied, DK vs Balto was a straight vote (duh), but in the three-way ties, I gave 2 points for a vote for first (among the three), 1 point for a second-place vote, and 0 for a third-place vote. So, moving on. I was thinking that challenges would be first-come, first-serve, but if someone challenges someone and then is challenged by someone else within a certain amount of time (like an hour or two), we would encourage a three-way match. For default match rules, I was thinking similar to tourney style: - 4-week standard brawling, with a 1 week time limit on individual pics (i.e. you have a week at most to respond to your opponent's picture)
- The defender chooses a battleground.
- The challenger posts the first picture, which consists of the challenger's character busting up a ton of the defender's minions, and culminates in the challenger coming face-to-face with the defender.
- After the 4 weeks (or other agreed upon time limit) is up, everyone votes on who the winner should be.
- The fighters can agree to change the rules to suit their tastes, but if they can't agree, rules default to this set.
For multi-way battles, we could do something along the same lines, except have the match go on for six weeks, have one-week thread posting rules, and have one person eliminated at the three-week mark. Input?
