Hello erry'body,
I wish to discuss possible thread options with you. Some threads start off with promise and then die out of nowhere from lack of motivation(?)
What kind of thread would you like to see?
Who else would be interested?
Any drawbacks? Advantages?
What makes a successful thread?
I know there are tons of old threads that probably touch base on every concept, so consider talking about attempting to revive them.
Also, ask yourself. Why did YOU first come to SPB? And what motivates YOU to draw?
I'm honestly curious and hope to hear back from erry'body.

Personally, I like zombies, fights in specific areas, adventures, and plot twists.
KILLZONE
I have an idea to open an arena-type like thread. Where two contestants (you guys) are put in a dome to fight each other. Powers are sometimes disabled and you get to decide the weapon you use from ones have chosen for you. I control the traps, you control the action. If someone goes MIA and is unable to be reached, a kill pic could be posted.
It would have plot twists (by yours truly) and secret traps, exploits - the whole nine yards! Sure its a lot like the tournys we have here, but I feel I could give it a different feel and the time between posts could wait a little longer.

Hm. Yeap. Pretty much the same really.
Seeing someone draw something would be nice. That's what I want.
It also very much concerns me that noone is drawing.

I'm concerned too. I like this place.
It's either that people need the right kick in the pants to get them motivated again, or this place is doomed to die because everyone, who was once active, realized they hate fighting/storylines/art.

I don't know about everyone else but I have a really hard time finding the right motivation to draw stuff.
If I could get into it I'd be actively trying to do threads and such, if anyone else feels the same a good consensus on types of thread could possibly get things going again.
Personally I like a nice mix of fighting and plot stuff if that's any consolation.

I can contribute about a picture per week. Lately all I've been doing is detailed 10+ panel comics that take me weeks to finish given my schedule (sorry), so it'll be refreshing to just hop into a thread with a 2-panel response that will only take about 20 minutes to make.
I have at least four massive pictures I'm still working on that are still only 50% done, but that's my own fault.
I'm all for a new thread that's GUARANTEED to be active, so let's do it.

Personally I think the best thing to do right now would be say, another brawl comic thread, something open ended in brawl city where you can fight, plot, rob a guy, do whatever.

Ps: I, Luzuese, Am a fag. I would love to. I would also love if this was changed to THE COMPLAINT THREAD, seeing as how everyone just complains about why they hate drawing i.e. themselves. Since I started drawing here in middle school, I take it that everyone is in college now. SO USE YOUR MUDDA FUGGIN SPARE TIME TO DO WHAT YOU LOVE (DRAWWWWW), and if you have a tablet, there should be no excuse -_- Unlike how I was with JayTizzleR (a benevolent person wanting to draw but finding depression instead), I am DEFINITELY planning on being active. I don't watch TV, I've grown tiresome of partying, and I try to not smoke pot; I have TONS, or LOADS, of free time because college isn't hard when you've got nothing else to do (even though I'm in an engineering fraternity).
