muthufuckin buck bumble, man paid good money for that Seriously, what the hell.does it help if i say this list is partially split between my sister, my brother and i hell, this isnt even half of what i need to feel.. complete. I have about 3/4 of his collection, I have to recheck my "Vault" since I'm on a school computer right now. I don't think they're on your list but I've always really wanted to play Katamari Damacy, that game looked so awesome. And Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg, and some of the Jak and Spyro games.

There's no need to be so rude, his response was actually quite polite. Besides I think he just meant that your machine could be larger than the one he drew, not necessarily a higher "level" Whatever, man. I'm still going to wait to post another picture until the OP confirms whether or not it's cheating. Doppler is actually two seperate characters, so I figured that saying they combined would be enough of an explanation. I actually would've just made it level 2, but it seemed like the way I drew it was too big (since a grown man can fit inside it's head), so I just made it level 3, like the robots combined when they were level 1.5 or something. Just saying that it'd be kinda out of place if their robot was already 2x as big as most other people's but is level 1. I like this kind of creativity, but please, settle down guys, I'm cool with it . Like I said, if you can come up with an interesting or comical way of saying why your machine is the way it is, I'll alow it. If it really seems that you have some kind of all-powerful godbot that can curbstomp everyone, gets smashed into skyscrapers but comes out and launches Spirit Bombs back and "obliterates" the person who just hit them in like the next picture, then we're going to have some problems. Alastor gave a reason, I'm assuming his mech is combined of "three things" so Lvl3 would be accurate. However, it would be appreciated if you at least showed the transformation or something akin to it. The starting picture, at the very least, should be that character at level 1. If there is any reason you should want to start higher for "storyline" or "background" purposes, contact me and I'll examine it. MANStorm you can put your picture back now, I wa really getting into all of the robot smashing and cool designs and seeing a removed pic was so dissappointing.

Right so final few questions before I start trying to make some content posts: You compared it to katamari damacy, is the consumption process a form of Megaman-ing in that the machine basically integrates the other machine into its body and gains its abilities, or does it just grow and develop in some unrelated way? How smart are machines, or does it vary? Can they be sentient? Can they be non-sentient? Do they even have any control over their own actions or are they simply piloted vehicles? Do they consume the soul of the vanquished machine or the pilot? Does there need to be a pilot or can they just eat random objects? Does there need to be a machine or can they just eat people and animals? Ok that was more than a few questions, sorry All of that is really up to you, except for soul consumption. As long as your machine consumes another machine/object, or a person, it will evolve. The thread's longevity will depend on how much creativity you want in your machine, you can have an automated machine, you can have an Iron Man suit, boots, gloves, sentience, so on. The pilot is never killed (unless they intentionally mean to drop out or voulnteer). All machines involuntarily "grow" as they integrate other machines and parts. You know that episode of Megas XLR with the Regis MkV, how everytime Coop smashed it it just reactivated and grabbed some piece of technology, then continue to get bigger and bigger? It could work like that as well. Yes, it is a form of MegaManning, just with levels and more intricate evolutions beyond palette-swapping. Here's a good note - If you integrate somebody else's machine, you gain ALL THE POWERS/ABILITIES that machine had and parts of their appearance, if you just eat normal things you just get bigger. Also you guys can attack whenever you want, you don't have to just "introduce" your machine. Whoever has a picture of their small machine is in the crosshairs for anyone willing.

If your machine is wrecked can you get another machine or are you eliminated permanently? You can basically get a new one or try and fight out of your old one. Smalls are very durable, which is why they have great weapons or attacks to mess up other ones. Or join with another character and a different machine at level one? Also are there restrictions on what your machine can do at the start or is it just common sense that people will shout at you if you're overpowered? Restrictions are basically your machine will start small, and rather than PKing (unless done to awesome/humorous effect) all the time you should eat NPCs (draw yourself eating a rabbit-robot) other things to grow really fast. Your machine, at Lvl1, cannot do much beyond shooting cannon blasts, bashing other machines, running, sprinting, using jet thrusters, or turning a character's power into a weaponized form. My machine can slightly defy gravity due to Scott being able to defy gravity. All machines are small until you reach at least Lv5. The objective is to get as big as possible by wrecking as much as possible and then consuming it, if anyone's played Katamari Damacy you'll pick up the concept really quick. That's pretty awesome then.

In the year 20xx, mankind discovered a series of independent machine models all containing incredible materials and abilities. To distinguish these machines, they labeled them with markings based upon the level of craftsmanship that was drawn into the machine's design. However, by the time of the White Void, civilization tanked and the robots were abandoned for unknown reasons... Those machines were relocated today. Now, every one of us, you, and I possesses one. The machines, due to their size, were titled "Smalls", and the bigger forms known as "Bigs". You may pick any machine you desire. However, one of the facts of these machines that wasn't written in the history books was that they crave on human souls. In our case, our fighter's souls. In order for your machine to function, to evolve, you must devour other people's machines, and with each machine you devour, you gain one level. Will you be the first to eat the other Smalls and make the biggest machine of them all? All just to become a "Big"? I hereby claim Scott's Miracle Machine. A small cat food container that Scott found with his imagination, it contains a dog pedal engine and uses a single turbo cannon to fire super-concentrated beams of sugar, spice, and everything nice at his enemies. Its tripedal legs are interchangeable and uniquely defy gravity to an extent, likely an aspect of Scott's esper powers, and the machine's main fuel source is pop rocks and soda. Like all, he begins at level one (everyone's machine must be labeled with their level, and raised everytime another machine is wrecked). But he will gain power through battle. NOTES: *By eating other Smalls (players), you will automatically absorb all of their abilities and powers and traits. If you consume normal matter, you will merely become bigger. * If you integrate a kind of "explanation" into why your machine would be bigger than a starting machine, its allowed. Like say I wanted I a giant robot, if a character had a backstory for machinery, then having a giant mech here would be appropriate. * You can use ships instead of machines, ship-Small machines and plane-Small machines are accepted. * If your machine is "destroyed", you will respawn and drop an entire level.

I'd say we can just kind of jump in whenever, no specific turns, just draw when you want, but then the plot might get mixed up with two images with the same action happening different ways What do you think Kyon I'd rather not. The entire idea is keeping it organized, and you pretty much addressed all of my fears of what would happen if it weren't organized. I'd prefer it if the pace were normal and healthy and not just brash, sloppy, and chaotic like a last-minute science project (Note, I want to refrain again from saying this has to be a perfect example of human anatomy, just make the picture have a caption and define what's going on in some shape or form). I mean, who'd want a bizarre picture that looks like Cthulu is trying to eat it's way out of an alternate dimension when we just established that we were at a party scene or something? Or like a scene at an ice cream social being cut off by some kind of hellish grendel? I already defined what I think is acceptable spontaneity above though, the storyline can be leaned, just not broken. *as I finished typing this, the commercial for Sonic Colors came on and I went into a daze*

Apparently neither does game play. I believe that's actually a symptom of needing a different kind of game". You can't help it if the last 5 video games you played range from Gears Of War, Halo, Call of Duty, or some other first person shooter. Not to stereotype, but saying that the gameplay of a franchise of war games doesn't change at all is pretty humorous to me. If you think about it, none of the CoDs really change cycles - You shoot things, you try not to get shot, you start knifing when you feel you're pro, you teabag when you think it's funny, you get pissed when you find out someone else is doing something that gets you killed that you can't return just as easily, you stop playing, you wait for the next one to come out, then enjoy that for 4+ weeks until the same old nonsense starts up again. To me, it's only fresh when I've gone back to play Sonic 2 or NiGHTs and realize "Wow, sometimes shooting people is less fun than ramming them or flying loops around them and casting them into polygonal oblivion". When I realize I need more (relative) maturity and bloodshed, the Plasma Rifle in Reach starts to look amazing again, and so does CTF, and TF2? Don't get me started.

See, the funny thing is you think this is about a teenage girl engaging in relationships like some kind of romantic drama in a school setting. Hey, MVG, got anything that won't make me feel like a12-year-old girl or a pedophile when I watch it? Oh ho ho... no. No no no no no.

Ehh, it's just mw2 recycled. Same guns, same perks, same attachments for said guns, same fast arcade like game play, same kill streaks, just different names, same graphics, and all the guns basically kill you at the same rate despite their stat differences. not much has really changed. War. War never changes.

My area was terrible, I got a handful of candy at most and we followed some stupid parade for a good half hour around a lake.
But my ninja costume was viewtiful (no pics sorry, we only left around 5-6PM and it was getting dark by us). I had a sword, a mask, full costume, sais, and bullet-timing cologne on. Unfortuantely, I didn't tie my shoe so I lost a footrace with a guy who was dressed as Link.
Sigh, Halloween was a bad night for ninjas.

I've been reading a lot of these stories to get some intel on the Brawlverse. And due to mass incompleteness in the story section except by Balto-boy, I must say it's been rather inconclusive. But I'm caught between a a story that includes many of the colorful characters in people's rosters and doing a self-narrative of my own character, Scott Sun. Sorry if that was equally inconclusive, just a tiny reverie I wanted to get out.
I have a draft if anyone's willing to preview it.

Everybody that's wanted to so far has been added. You can post in this thread at anytime if you want to drop out if you feel you can't add anything else, and you can rejoin at anytime you desire.
Suggested time: 1 week? Do we all agree that we should all have a 1 week timeline, it is a play so coming up with ideas/illustrating them could take awhile. I'm not saying it has to be the best artwork ever (if anyone remembers, I don't have the best tablet/artistic flair/perspective either), but make it revolve around three things: Beginning, middle, and end. What I'm trying to say is try to contain within a week, if you honestly don't have enough time to finish something due to a conflicting schedule but you still want to participate, just say PASS and we'll move to the next person.
Thanks guys, and once we're done here, the fun can begin.

I had an idea for a thread - criticism and questions welcome.
It took me quite some time to come up with an idea - I noticed one thing that seemed to be a recurring problem, a lot of people face difficulty illustrating their thoughts because there's always someone who will come up with something quicker. That's a fact of life, isn't it? Except, hopefully, this isn't life, so we more or less can tell the tape to stop once we hit STOP or PAUSE, and can pick it up again with PLAY.
Aside from that, the point of this thread is simple. We will be organizing a play to present to [this forum]. Of course, this play does not have to be a serious one, it can be silly, spontaneous, romantic, dramatic, violence, gratuitous, sexual, tragic, sad, depressing, revolve around noir or fantasy - whatever.
The play will begin with a specific plot, where it goes after that is up to you. One rule - it cannot resort to scriptless fighting (yes, I did look at this). We are depicting a story here, and while there can be violence, it cannot be scriptless. Every scene must have some kind of "bottom caption" to detail what's going on in each scene.
We can stray from the plot I begin, but we cannot go from:
A) A space epic where the crew of a ship is fighting an alien intruder.
to
B) A castle story about pretty pink ponies that can fire ice cream lasers from their horns.
Acceptable ranges of spontaneity:
A) We were settling a dispute between two mob families
when suddenly
B) A superhero named Frank showed up and proposed a peace offering
but then
C) The mob decided not to surrender and opened fire on him
yet he
D) Beat up the bad guys and went home and watched TV.
Will we follow Frank, or will we follow the surviving mafiosos? That part, however, is up to whoever has their turn next.
But, to entertain the audience within a specific frame, we're going to organize the order in which this play occurs.
THIS was when I was going to originally make a thread but decided to get opinions on the idea first:
That sounds contradicting, but here's how it goes. As you'll see, I haven't provided a picture, because I require participants. At least 3 participants are recommended (I once saw a troupe of three people perform Shakespeare, I'm sure a bunch of teens with Microsoft Paint can make it just as well). The list will always be kept/updated here. Follow the list, the play will follow the order of the next person on the list (whose name will be in bold) and will not proceed until that person finishes their addition to it. Then the next person can go.
Simply PM me or post in this thread if you would like to participate in the play. We have no limit on how many people, however, you will have to wait your turn before you can add to it:
1. Kyon 2. Icebrigade 3. Zarth 4. Il Nostro Valore 5. ElemAntell 6. Metal Chao 7. Grimscott 8. The Omnipresence 9. DryChris

i can't find a trailer that actually shows what the game is actually like, give it a try if you can :3 The name of the two songs are "Another Winter" and "Clash at Demonhead", both are done by a popular band called Amanguchi. The animation is by Paul Robertson. The trailer is amazing.

YOU ARE WEAK. This was one of the easiest battles. He was difficult, but I don't remember him being that difficult... Xigbar... honestly, I don't remember HIM too well. That part of the game felt a little PIS to me, they spent ALL THAT TIME making the Organization members look awesome. I heard a LOT of people talk about Xigbar, but only due to Final Mix+ increasing the difficulty of certain bosses like him. He was actually a FUN challenge due to the whole shooting schematic of his boss fight, in my opinion. The reason you don't remember him is because he was SUCH an agonizing fight, you like many others omitted it from your memory to spare yourself the long-term mental trauma he inflicted on our thumbs. This was That One Boss that made children cry. Saix was similar to Xigbar for me, he was a bit harder but his fight had nothing special about it. I never used a lot of forms cause it felt like a waste to just using magic. He was fun, but an easy battle.
