HELLO? HELLOHELLOHELLOHELLOHELLO
Oh well.
How many people here still draw? Obviously I've never been able to draw (if anyone even remembers), nor did I ever put much effort into it being that I was 13-14 when I spent the bulk of my time on this website; I was just wondering how many of you continued pursuing it. I mean, there are some obvious people like Destructin or McJesus, who were already pretty good artists before they came here (and coincidentally both despised me), but how about you all that started drawing here? I know at this point I'm only reaching out to a fraction of the community that I remember, but at least it brings a topic of discussion for whoever floats in here.

I never really had any drive to pursue art as a life thing. I mainly drew and contributed to this site myself because it was fun and all that. That said, I do like to think that it improved me a little bit in that regard. However, I more appreciate this site for being an additional and a much, much, MUCH more civil social outlet than Newgrounds back when I still frequented that site.

I come here occasionally to ban bots for some reason (I also have to update my grudge with luzuzhakjsfn.) Anyway, the only ones I can think of that didn't know anything starting out and became really good is MVG and Shackles. Anyone else had practice way before. I think MVG is a great example because he started out really bad as an 11 year old kid, but he was one of the few guys who actually attempted to improve their stick figures and actually begin drawing full bodied characters more often to the point that's all he drew. He's a fantastic artist now, 17 years old and way ahead of anyone that was that age, I fucking sucked when I was 17 (and still do.)

I've come to realize that I just don't have the patience to learn how to draw; I'm just like meowth, man. I spent all of my experience learning how to program, and now there's nothing left over for learning how to draw. Also, was RabiesIsMe good at drawing from the start? I remember when he had that guitar character he was great but I can't remember anything he did prior to that... That guy was great. I was 14 and he was 16 and I thought he was so cool. Also, since he was from Belgium he could drink. You know what, I bet he is still one chill motherfucker, whatever it is that he is doing now.

Hey, at least you're learning to do something that'll benefit you in one way or another. I still draw from time to time. Once you shake off the rust you catch up pretty quickly.
From the start? My mind is a bit fuzzy but I'd say that by today's standards from back then he was pretty alright. I however will say I favored the way he used cinematic paneling to display his scenes. It was almost like watching an animation in flash without the animations. Like say, a frame by frame storyboard.

I just feel like I need to meet somebody that is in the same boat, but on opposite sides of me. Like, somebody good at drawing but terrible at programming. I've always been afraid of that though, because knowing me I'd want total creative control, and that would make me a total dick if we were making something without being paid for it.
Also, I didn't realize you were nitro until I scrolled over your name. Sup bro
Also also, the votes on the poll were 50/50 but I changed mine >: D

The bigger question is, who the fuck feels like engaging in a battle where we draw our characters beating the shit out of one another/adventuring/sexing each other up in some gross horrendous orgy that's a crime against man, nature, holy dieties, demonic entities and just everything else/chatting and keeping up the pace without being bogged down by artist block, work, lack of ideas, loss of inspiration or life in general?
[edit]Ele Mantel you bastard now the polls' all fucked and hrngmhs
