Hey all as you may know i have flash and i have used it for a while but, only to create pictures with i have never actually tried to create an animation.
So as you can guess i have decided to start working on a flash animation but so far i can not get my head round it. I have checked out nearly all of the tutorials and newgrounds and they don't help that much.
As we have quite a few talented flash users among use i was just wonting to ask for some advice and guidance.
I have tried all the motion tweens and what not all the basics creating a bouncing ball and what not. So anything you could suggest for making my very first flash would be great.
Thanks Undeadlaw

Well, first practise FBF stick figures. You'll get it sooner or later. But if you are going to make a stick flash, I have advice for you. Make the body's FBF, but the head should be tweened. I'm not quite the expert but hey, practise makes perfect.

I, too, are willing to join this online course. I have always been interested in Flash, but never can do, well, other than three second loops and craptastic FBF.

Same here. I'll never be heard admitting it, but I'm pretty crappy at Flash. Keep it frame by frame and at a reasonable FR, and it should look good. But I must join this!

I can give you a few tips, even though I won't join.
The basic rule of FBF is to draw a picture, and then edit ever so slightly in the next frame. Then edit the new picture in the next frame ever so slightly. Keep doing that until you've got the whole thing down.

I started with Pivot Stick Animator and continued on from there. You can download Pivot free. To get the latest version just type in the search box: Pivot v3. I hope this helps.
