I really liked No more hero's. Besides the fact that the main character is a weaboo who loves wrestling, he is a pretty cool character. He is bad ass. Really, the game is awesome. You get to kill people with a beam katana and fight some of the most difficult bosses ever. Plus the controls work really well. The game also looks and sounds great. ui10.gamefaqs.com/1801/gfs_75945_2_1.jpg[/img] wiimedia.ign.com/wii/image/article/835/835723/no-more-heroes-20071115042344102_640w.jpg[/img]Anyways this is what No More Hero's is about. In a sense, No More Heroes is the quintessence of Japanese geekdom. The concept basically materializes every fanatical anime nerd's fantasy and transforms it into a video game that combines pure-bred action with the panache of a Quentin Tarantino movie. Every element of the game gets exaggerated and pushed into the realm of absurdity...in a good way. Meet Travis Touchdown, a spunky dude with a Beam Katana, cool sunglasses and a freaky obsession with Japanese anime and wrestling. He is currently on a mission: to climb the ranks of the United Assassin Association (UAA) and become number one. Surely such a death wish can be no normal dream of a broke and single weaboo. Alas, Mr. Touchdown is by no means limited within the definition of normal. After all, he's got bills to pay and a growing anime collection to foster.

The title is "No more heroes"... Anyway, I sorta liked the basic rundown you had going explaining the game, but I thought it was a bit shallow. Not really any examples or details to your statements. I love No More Heroes, though.

"Pinnacle of Japanese geekdom" says IGN, quite literally the best explanation I heard of it thus far. IGN's where I heard it, nevermind.
Also, he will be back.
Just not this year.

I've watched pretty much everything on Youtube and got what little I could out of it, all that's left is to play it myself. Take note, the "sixth" octupus jetpack arm that comes up at the end lol.

This game kicks motherfuckin' ass. I'm on my second playthrough at the hardest difficulty level. Forgot what it's called because I started the second playthrough like months ago. I'm at Destroyman.

It's fun and all, but it got boring rather quickly. Plus it's too easy.

Dude, Destroyman was my favorite! Not only was it easy to dodge everything he threw at you (DESTROOOOY BEAM!!!) but him being a dick made it funny!

It's fun and all, but it got boring rather quickly. Plus it's too easy. It is easy, but it kept me entertained the entire time. I hate having to earn money after every level, but I still kept playing just to beat the next boss. And the bosses are the best part, of course. This game kicks motherfuckin' ass. I'm on my second playthrough at the hardest difficulty level. Forgot what it's called because I started the second playthrough like months ago. I'm at Destroyman. Destroyman is a dick if you ask me. The should call him Dickman. He gets what's comin' to him, and screams like a little bitch, too. BTW, I'm now ranked fourth. Just beat...uh... magician guy.

My favorite boss is...uhh...Hard to say. I liked that chick you fight at the beach<shame she killed herself> but i also liked that girl at the high school. Then again Travises twin brother was pretty awesome. Ugh! To hard to pick.

Letz Shake was a good boss... If you know who I'm talking about you'll get the joke. My favorite is probably Shinobu or Bad Girl.

Letz Shake was a good boss... If you know who I'm talking about you'll get the joke. My favorite is probably Shinobu or Bad Girl. Letz Shake has the coolest name in the entire game. Better than Travis Touchdown himself. Shame "Sir Henry Motherfucker" ruined the party :C And the two bosses you mentioned were probably my least favorite. Shinobu just wouldn't shut the hell up, and she kept walking and didn't try to kill me as much. And Bad Girl, I dunno... I expected more from someone ranked 2nd. My favorites are Dr. Peace, Destroyman and Speed Buster.

Just got the soundtrack the other day. IT IS SO GOOD. I mean I always was aware of how good it was, but actually listening to it without worrying about killing people is a whole other experience. Bad Girl's theme is my favorite.
Also now that my (ex)roommate has his Wii back, I might go back and finally beat Henry on Bitter like I've always meant to (I never owned the game, and my save file was on his Wii).
