The first step is admitting it, so.... I seriously suck at drawing anything other than stickmen. When I try, it starts out going well, then looks horrifically deformed and retarded. Can anyone help me out here?

Feel each pixel that shows up on your screen coming in contact with your eyes and make light brush strokes, topping it off with fine, light, fills of the bucket tool.

Use a stick as a base, then draw a body around it, then go back and remove the stick.

Use a stick as a base, then draw a body around it, then go back and remove the stick. No offence, but that's mostly an awful idea. Try using rough wire frames, made mostly of squares and polish it off with the details.

Use a stick as a base, then draw a body around it, then go back and remove the stick. That's what I tend to do actually. It works if you adjust the thickness of the fullbody. By that I mean, don't make them as skinny as a stick.

I only have one suggetion for you dude. Take your time on your pictures. I never draw a picture without an hour(s) work. Also, I would look up artist anatomy sites, like this.If you are drawing something like a car, or a tree, look it up on google. Having a refrence to draw from can improve your art tenfold.

TRY THIS. I don't often use this method though. That can most definitely help at times, but sometimes it makes the clean up it little bit difficult if detail is the matter. But all in all, good suggestion.

Eraser + The color you used to make the green whatever + Right click = Clean up.

But all in all, good suggestion. Yeah. I only use it when I'm working on something like a hand or some other smallish thing I worry about screwing up on where there's already black. I'm not patient enough for a whole pic made of it.

Eraser + The color you used to make the green whatever + Right click = Clean up. I mean you might accidentally erase some of the outline in your picture, my bad.

Welp, if you're gonna start doing fullbodies for the first time, then I'd start off with a guide of some sort. I think MVG has a pretty good idea there, but just use whatever works. I found that guides help a lot, especially with the complicated stuff. Also, I would look up artist anatomy sites, like this.I am totally favoriting this.

Well, thanks for the tips. I did used to do what Kromax said and draw a stick and go over it, but they always came out skinny as heck. So, I've tried again, and it's come out like this: Should I build it from here?

The upper part is good, but the legs should be in reverse, the (our view) right leg should be the longer one, and the left one, shorter.
