Boxing Gloves can/will be sold at the Brawl Store for only 20 Brawlios. They can only be worn per grudge match because wearing them anymore than that will result in them becoming soggy and smelly and render their effects useless.
Wearing Boxing Gloves (of any color you choose depending on the color in stock) will literally halve ALL DAMAGE you land on your opponent, making all of your attacks, not including solely physical ones, 1/2 as strong as they are normally.
However, depending on whether or not John or the victor is in the mood, WINNING (?)/FINISHING (?) a grudge match with boxing gloves on throughout the ENTIRE THING will DOUBLE the end EXP/Brawlio reward you receive, ya see?
I want to know if this sounds cool with the rest of yous'.

This makes no sense. There's no invisible lifebar.

This makes no sense. There's no invisible lifebar. ...Please...please elaborate. I don't understand this. How does this NOT make sense? Its as clear as day what I'm trying to get across. Let's say you Rabies, use Caveman and would normally send your opponent across the Void into a wall. Well now, the output of that attack is halved, so they go a few feet. Just make your attacks "a little" less explodey and less epic, and fight more ingeniously. You don't need an "invisible lifebar". You just have to think about what you're doing first. Also, last I heard, the winner doesn't get shit. To the contrary, why would we go through all the trouble of Brawl HQ and John's mathematical genius if you DIDN'T receive Brawlios? Why do you think there are so many finished/unfinished grudge matches? Greedy penguins, that's what.

I beat purplecat a while ago and didn't get shit.

Since there's no telling how "explodey" and "epic" my attack would be without boxing gloves, like there would with a lifebar type situation, there's not really any halving it. I just don't like the idea.

Like a theme is involved, or a goal has to be met and both sides fight to complete the goal and/or stop the other person from achieving it. Pretty dumb idea...but back to the subject, this does not sound like a good idea...

Someone could set the rules to generic no flying through walls attacs only.

Wait, shouldn't this go under concept art?

Wait, shouldn't this go under concept art? I don't think so. I mean, the section DOES say "Ideas For Us". I'm not so crazy about it myself. Sorry, Ghost. I think Rabies said it best. I don't like the idea too, but it sparked a dumb idea. Instead of normal grudge matches, we could have certain types. Like a theme is involved, or a goal has to be met and both sides fight to complete the goal and/or stop the other person from achieving it. Pretty dumb idea...but back to the subject, this does not sound like a good idea... McJ and Swordkill did something like that in a Grudge. They made it work pretty okay, but I think normally it wouldn't do too well. Cuz some folks might try to solve it in one pic or get all cheap and whatnot. (Granted, if two people wanted to do such a thing, I'm pretty sure there's no rule stopping them)

Also, the idea just kept buzzing around for 4 little words: TF2 Style Grudge Match
