How far would you go to save somebody you loved?
I can't even begin where my adventure in Quantic Dream's fully-dimensional, cinematic masterpiece began...and where it ended. I just finished my first playthrough at 2-4 something AM last night after starting it at 4-5PM yesterday after borrowing it from a friend.
Three of my characters died, only Madison lived in MY ending due to some...comical fuck-ups I'd be willing to discuss with people who are numb to spoilers. Anyway, this game was beauty given form - character, setting, narrative, point of view, action, clever gameplay, and some pretty good thrills along the way. Its a good way to burn your SIXASIS skills and be complimented with a storyline as deep and involving as MGS4 or Assassin's Creed. (And there's plenty of NSFW to satisfy anyone - most realistic human anatomy I have ever seen before, though you've probably known this for awhile if you've seen even one screenshot of the game).
If you played Farenheit (Indigo Prophecy), just think of what you felt playing that game and amp it up ten times. Heavy Rain won't let you sleep, I couldn't put the game DOWN until I had gotten at least ONE ending, yes, I threw caution to the wind and stuck 10-11 hours beating this game and hunting down the enigmatic Origami Killer.
I recommend anyone with a PS3 pick this up as soon as possible - its on par with "inFamous" in terms of exclusive popularity and quality.
