FIFTH GEN STARTERS AND M/F TRAINERS REVEALED! I'm taking the grass type Obviously picking the fire type. PLEASE CAN I JUST SAY, NOT BECAUSE I ALWAYS PICK FIRE TYPE. I'm kinda annoyed at that. I'd prefer if it was the water or grass type, because I usually do pick fire types, and want a change. But... Damn man, it's a pig. That's fucking awesome!

I like the designs for the trainers. Starters look pretty dumb though imo. The one on the right is a. . .waterbear or something? Wutlol (possibly a beaver thing, check out the tail) I think I'd go for the fire type. I wonder what they look like fully evolved though. . . Damn man, it's a pig. That's fucking awesome! Say hello to Spoink. IT HAS TO KEEP BOUNCING ON IT'S SPRING TAIL OR IT WILL DIE![/b] Just check out some of the stuff it says in one of the Mystery Dungeon Games. 51%-100% HP If I don't keep bouncing, I lose my life! 26%-50% HP Uh-oh! My HP is halfway down! 1%-25% HP Help me... I'm running out of energy to bounce... Oh, I love this franchise.

If you check Serebii.net, they'll say it. # The Grass Starter, Tsutaja (ツタージャ) is the Grass Snake Pokémon # The Fire Starter, Pokabu (ポカブ)is the Fire Pig Pokémon # The Water Starter, Mijumaru (ミジュマル) is the Sea Otter Pokémon
EDIT~ I typed into a free translator each of the japanese names and this is what I got: Grass Starter - Ivy jar Fire Starter - ポ Cub Water Starter - Got nothing
Okay...not a lot....But, I find the grass starter's translation to give us a lot of information. For example, and most obvious, the word 'Ivy' is going to be part of it; Some flavor text can be predicted; and most connectible, it's evolutions will have poison as their secondary type. This bides very well with the face that it's a Grass Snake, and may have something to do with 'Poison Ivy' linking to it's venom somehow.

The stories say it was recalled before it left Japan, so anyone that got it internationally is safe.

Probably bullshit. Any effects someone might get from this would probably be simply from hearing the story. Although the music always did scare me.

That's bullshit, Ice. Pokemon is coded in assembly, which means that none of the sprites are named, especially not with a windows file extention like .gif. Fun reading, though.

I think I may have something that could help with this. Have you ever listened to a mosquito ring tone? Look it up, and try and listen to different ones. They all have pitches at really high tempos, so some you may not hear. The original reason for these ringtones is because since adult's ears have dulled, it is harder for them to hear the tone, therefore help kids know when their phone rings during school and the teacher not knowing. Sneaky huh? Now, the producers of the original game may had an early glimpse at this affect and played around with it and come up with a music clip that could give an eerie feel to it. This is probably how they developed the phenomenal 'Lavender Town Tone'. What they didn't realize is that being exposed to these high pitched sounds for a long period of time could really hurt the brain. Because the ears connect to the brain, medical problems can be issued. Insomnia, Nausea, Vomiting, Nosebleeds (don't know how that could happen), Migraines, Headaches, etc. can all be issued with the Lavender Town Tone Syndrome (lets abbreviate it LTTS). Perhaps a study with this and cats can help (not fanboy/fangirlish or anything). Cats can hear really high pitched sounds that humans can't hear AT ALL. Perhaps we can play some of the high pitched notes from the Lavender Town music and see how the feline reacts. Now I'm not an expert on this, but I have played around with notes on my piano. Like that one on the very right, that's really high pitched. I do remember when I was young how I liked how it stood out and how high pitched it was. Now that I have a cat, I commonly see him perk up whenever I play that note when I practice the piano. I think this may help benefit those who don't understand things about the phenomenon.

Funny, I just got through reading that. TBH, it kinda lost all believability to me around 37, 39 and when Sousuke Tamada popped up. Then everything went downhill. [spoilers=Actual Spoilers]It always sorta ruins this type of creepypasta for me when someone commits suicide or something similar. Like in the suicidemouse.avi (Look it up if you're curious, just don't derail this thread) story.[/spoiler] Also, this thread is so stupid it makes me wanna dropkick something.
