So... I was just being bored as usual when I remembered that my pen and paper art style didn't really fit for Paint, and not here. So I re-designed him again. It looks better, doesn't it?

It does look good, but you should work on your proportions. The legs and arms are too short for the body. If your guy can't jack off, you did something wrong. You can use this figure as reference. See, what you do is you measure things in heads. For instance, the forearm, from elbow to wrist, is pretty much 1 head. Keep improving!

I know a lot of proportions, especially the arms, but I have trouble doing it especially on Paint.
Also, big heads has always been a style of mine.

I know a lot of proportions, especially the arms, but I have trouble doing it especially on Paint. You should make a simple stick figure/puppet beforehand, focusing on only the porportions and pose, no detail, and then draw over it. Then remove the puppet. In paint, I think there's some thing like "remove all 'paint' in color x" or something, but I don't know it, since I use flash. Yeah, you should keep that, I forgot to mention. Make a puppet with a normal sized head, get the correct proportions down, then simply make the head bigger.

Oh... yeah, I've been thinking about doing that stick figure thing (I remember doing the same with pen and paper in 3rd grade or something when we drew war pictures, haha), but when I'm about to do something new, I seem to forget it, I'll try it soon.
Thanks a lot! I always use big heads, I dunno why really, but I like it more, Hell, in some of my drawings, the head is actually almost as big as the body, as you can see in my pics here, I focus more on the details in the face.

This took a lil' while to do, and it didn't look as good as I hoped, his head turned quite Anime-ish, I think it has to do with the little place for his mouth... or something, either way, here's the 6 steps... 1. Stickman! 2. Body and some details 3. Color and some more detail 4. Shading 5. More shading, and some other stuff, mostly making it look better... pretty much. 6. Background, and probably fixed some awkward stuff here too. I really don't know what to think about it, so don't hold in with the constructive criticism, I know the Jukebox in the last pic looks retarded and such, but I put it in more like a last minute thing.

You might want to get the direct link and put image tag on it instead.

Maybe make the legs normal sized... or is that part of the style?..
Oh and try avoid such bright colours like that they can make them look all newbie and whatnot, if you go through the colour mixer and maybe get a slightly duller/darker/mixed colour it improves it pretty quickly (in my eyes) Also I recommend trying to draw with a thicker brush then use the pencil for detail... Remember the CTRL + and CTRL - tricks (basically hold down the CTRL button then press - or + on the numpad while the brush tool is selected) they let you use some hidden brush sizes.

His right hand's fingers bend the wrong way, and that arm should go bhind the body for a more natural looking pose. And keep working on those proportions. Also, a thing you do that you should fix is that you always make a muffintop sort of thing where the hips are way too small.

Hmm... I've read it all, and the only thing I can comment on now is that the pants are very tight, but maybe I draw them too small. Either way, if you look up drawings on greasers on Google, you're gonna see that they have sorta similar style to mine.

Either way, if you look up drawings on greasers on Google, you're gonna see that they have sorta similar style to mine. You're right, I am seeing this extremely small pants thing in these drawings I found, but they're more fluid and seamless in the transition from hip to pants, due to their smooth lines and they aren't as extreme as you do them. Reference.

Hah, that was exactly the one I was thinking off! (I used to have the big guy as my avatar on another site)
I did think it looked kinda weird, but not too much, I'll see what I can do...
Thanks for all this constructive criticism btw!
EDIT: Btw; on second look, I remembered that the stomach is supposed to be so big that it actually hides part of the pants, but you are right, it looks kinda awkward.

Anyway, I'm a BIIIG Buddy Holly fan, just absolutely love EVERYTHING about him. Either way, for... a reason or another (I was just sobering up, could have to do with that), I started drawing him in Paint, and... it looked pretty good. It was "sort of" a drawing of a picture of Buddy, it usually gets messed up if you don't make a few alterations, but I did, and I got surprised by how good it actually looked, I also took all the colors from color pictures of Buddy Holly. Lost from sight, but not from sound.

Sweet, looks like your pics are improving too. Well, I am a pretty decent pen and paper artist (and I am about to take classes very soon in this sorta stuff, so expect more improvement soon, hopefully), it's always been easier to shade in Paint, but I can't do all the stuff I can do with pen and paper, luckilly I found this site, learned how to move around in the forums, and get constructive criticism, if it hadn't been for you guys, I'd never been at this level right now. Seriously, this probably places as my 2nd favorite website at the moment

Y'do realise ya kinda drew the hands the wrong way around, right? Nice to see you tried the thicker line, it looks good keep at it

Oh, you're right! If you have your arms straight down, you're thumbs goes towards your body, but that won't happen there, I knew it felt wrong with the fingers... Thanks! I got the recommendation to use the ctrl +/- trick, so I'm using a line thinner than the usual brush size, and thicker than the pencil, which I noticed was perfect for me Thanks!

Also, the barrels of the guns should be significantly longer than their grips. I made a gun drawing tutorial a while ago that could help out on the finer points of drawing guns, if you like. Funnily, it looks like the skeleton is old Kromax. Not that this was intentional, as Kro not only hasn't drawn his character since you joined, but also changed his design a long time ago to exclude the hat. It just struck me as funny.

I've always had it hard to draw guns, but I think it got even worse by Eddie holding them wrong (I drew the hands first, never notice how weird they look for some reason.) I'll look at the tutorial. EDIT: Kromax? Heard of him, but yeah, that's totally unintentional, hehe

Started doodle a bit in Paint, the style is extremely easy to do, but it also looks pretty good. I did the next pic whilst extremely tired...

Holy shit, I think I just made my most realistic drawing so far. Even I can see a couple of problems with it, but I'm still very proud of this one.
