Ha, didn't see all these. Nice work. Hehe, here I go thinking I post these too often, then I get to know people haven't gotten the time to check 'em out, haha! Btw; I was thinking of taking requests, since you've helped me out the most this far (a lot of other has to, my thanks to all of you!) I'll let you to make the first request That's thanks to constructive criticism, and finding the perfect size for the brush in Paint certainly helped a lot, I was first disappointed since I knew I could do better, and had done better before as well, but know I'm actually pretty proud of all of these. Luck that because I'm about to take lessons in art and such! I'm worried if I'm good enogh, haha

I'll let you to make the first request Awright, how about Brawlers dressed up in outfits from different decades? Like someone as a hippy for the 70s, glam rocker for the 80s, etc. Doesn't matter which Brawlers you use. Oh, but you gotta use something other than a greaser for the 50s. YEAH

Actually, Hippies is mid/late 60-ish more. The early 70's variated, but Disco and Funk are the obvious ones, though that was more late 70's WAIT, NO, NOT A GREASER? Hmm... now that's hard, because mods and rockers pretty much had the same outfits, then there's squares... but, nyeah, nothing really outmarking for the 50's. I could take 4 Brawlers and make them a Doo-Wop band though www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWHuZa1DxrMWHY "MY PRAYER" AND NOT THIS IN BENJAMIN BUTTON?

If I could make a guess as to who that is in the 70s one...

If I could make a guess as to who that is in the 70s one... HOLY SHIT, IT'S ELVIS!!!! Seriously though, yes, that's you I've always loved your style, and I thought your guy would be perfect for Disco I also started running out of characters I knew off, then there were some where I don't think you'd see who they were, like DanielRatherman's communist-ish guy I'm taking more requests btw EDIT: Damn, I need to learn not to use too many smileys, fixed it... *no smiley*

Ok, did 1940's-1970's. It was pretty fun, though, the 1950's isn't really that distinct since I wasn't allowed to make a greaser *Western look* That's how I roll. I think Angelico and Spike are my favorites, doo wop group's expressions are nice too. 1970s fellow has a backwards right hand (our right, not his right). That kind of mistake seems common for you, so I'd suggest looking at your own hands in such positions to give you a good idea of how they really look. Legs are also a little funky (lol) on him but you're also going for more unique poses a lot, so that's good.

Yeah, I make the hands wrong a lot of the times, and I can't for the love of **** understand why, because I've never had that problem before, especially because I've been banging it into my head for a year now. I guess I can blame me not having drawn for a while, but it still preplexes me, I even did study my own hands (I even used the pose when I was checking them, lol.) I knew it looked weird, but then I changed the finger's size a bit and it looked better, so I guess that fooled me.
Yeah, I was going for that... ahem, "funky" look on his legs, if I'd do it again I'd change his left foot though, it looks a bit awkward. I wasn't exactly aiming for an anatomically correct pose for the 70's one, heh.
Yeah, I was searching on Google for 1940's/1930's styled outfits and such, and then I started looking in the fighting rooster, then I remembered that you gave me the request, then I saw Angelico and knew he was perfect. I tried doing those lines he has on his clothes, but it just looked weird in my pic, dunno why though.
We should totally use that Doo-Wop group as the SPB Christmas card xD

Is it just me, or does it look like Psibat is choking in the 1950's picture? Heh. Anyways, everyone seems to have made something out of the Jamaican stereotype here, I thought I'd try it too. I'm pretty sure this is the best background I've ever made, and if you look at how it looks, you'll understand I'm not good at it.

Made another more random and a little more half-assed drawing. I kinda like it though, good training for some facial expressions.

The top guy kinda looks like a goron from Zelda. I kinda like it.
Also, nice rendition of the Mario Bros, even if it is half-assed.

Hmm... it does look kinda like it! I was actually going for monkey with too long arms I actually made the Mario brothers in another drawing on page 1, but I thought it'd fit there, hehe.

Decided to draw Mario this time! Like with my Buddy Holly picture I took the colors from another picture of the subject I drew. I really like the result of that, and I think it's something I'm gonna do more in the future. May sound somewhat cheap, but it'll help not only choosing what color to have, but also knowing what color to make. Over-all, I really like this drawing (no bias at all, lol.)

Didn't see Rety's requesting a drawing of his main in his art thread until now, so here it is. I made 2 different versions, I thought the first one was too similar to his own (awesome) style, so I made one who was more modeled after my own style, I prefer the top one though.

both hands are really awkward
palm and all that should be behind the gun. thumb on the cane hand should be on the body side.

I've never, never, ever, ever been good at drawings hands >.> And how did I fuck up the thumb? On the top one it's the right... I also know how it's supposed to be, so I don't know why I keep f*cking it up Back to training camp it is!

Dear God... this one took ages to make, but it came out really good. And yes, I pretty much exactly ripped-off Wario from another picture of him, but I didn't "cheat" or anything like that, looked at the picture, then drew it in another window.

Now it's Yoshi's turn! By the way: it's pretty easy to do (I bet a lot of you would do this better than me), but it does take skill, and it does take effort It's sort of like re-writing a Wikipedia article into your own thing.

I can see real improvement in your work DJ.
You have a very solid cartoony style developing, if you have any critics, tell them "See me in 3 months", because in that time, I do think that your style will be perfected, as you draw constantly. I want you to keep up the good work man, I feel that you have something working out here man.
