This is blanimae, he is as you can tell, AWESOME.. anyway, he has the power to summon sharp radioactive objects, his weakness is pizza dipped in ranch and mustard. his long term goal is to destroy anything dominantly orange. and if you burn his hair off he shoots a giant lazer beam at you. when extremeley aggrivated ultimate needle strike power awakening occurs and here is another pic here is my new character, the 8 bitman! (bit-min) his powers are to create 8 bit household objects and use them as weapons, he can transform into any shape as long as it is around his size (3ft) and it has to be 8 bit. And now i have made a tribute to myself being sick, behold SICKLY STICKLY CHEFMAN!!!!! he has the power to make any food and he eats it at a super fast rate and has projectile vomit. hes kind of gross.

Don't follow that image, copy the bit that says direct link and paste it in tags or it will turn into an ugly link Be nice if you could go into a bit more detail too though, "any element" is somewhat vague and if you don't mind me saying... his power boost when fighting the equally vaguelly defined generic character would make him pretty good at killing himself.

any element ont the periodic table of elemterys my dear watson? and yeah, i am going to detail him a bit more, he will become a full body character, and by generic character i mean things like, just a stickman, or a madness character, or a tihng thing character, or something that has already been made up. yknow what i mean.

Well there aren't really many of those left in general use, to be honest. (although there's not much that is more generic than "control over the elements" )

Bad idea. That means he can control anything, so he's too overpowered. Limit him somehow (to just a few elements maybe?) or think of something else. The thing about generic sticks is it's still a little bit vague. Blank stick figures typically don't happen, we all think of some kind of feature (hat, hair, tentacles, etc.) to make them stand out. And lots of us draw stick versions of our characters and "fullbody" normal versions.

You could use the "classical" elements, perhaps: earth, wind, fire, and water.

nah, thoses are boring, plus fire isnt really an element, its a chemical reaction.

I just don't think there's that many practical applications for the summoning and manipulation of titanium, vanadium, lithium, barium, and seaborgium. Especially the last one, given that it is a synthetic element with a half life of just two minutes.

well titanium is like the strongest metal like, ever dude. and the rest of them are just really shiny and sharp and have different cooling and freezing points and vaporization points. seaborgium has no picture on wikipedia, so i assume its some sort of poison gas that i have to shove down my opponents throught.

wait, nevermind, seaborgium is a radioactive unkown never before seen metal. pretty cool.

You could probably get away with being a lot less specific in this instance is what I am saying. The titanium stuff is good, you could probably make a good character who just has the ability to summon metal blades to be honest. And if you wanted the poison gas stuff as well then that works.
You don't really have to get that science-y.

Ok well now that you have that, what I reccomend that you do next is slow down a bit and try and draw a more detailed picture of your character. At the moment he's... a blue stickman with red eyes. Some better defining character traits would be nice, perhaps also tying in with his character, such as metal spikes or some kind of distinctive weapon. Or at least some clothing.
And I'd advise that you use the brush or pencil tool instead of autoshapes. Autoshapes aren't bad but I wouldn't reccomend drawing a whole picture with them.

I should point out that this is a preference thing; 99% of what I draw is curve/line tool, and I think everyone will agree it doesn't turn out that bad. Chao does have a point about the slowing down thing. Even my quick, one-panel pictures can take at least 15 minutes, and that's when I'm rushing.

I actually meant drawing using entirely the circle and rectangle tools rather than the curved line and straight line ones, but I guess I didn't really make that clear ;)

You get a scanner.

You can also take a picture of it and then connect the camera/phone to your computer. Scanning stuff looks 100 times better though.
