Okay, seriously. EVERYBODY who has flash, do you get these dots when you select a normal, non-symbol circle, by clicking it? Do yas? If it's only lines, shouldn't you be able to double click and have it select it all. That's what mine lets me do. Also, can you use the arrange>send to back function? Because i can't, anymore. And that's what I do; I arrange that shit. I can't work like this. Arrange to the front instead, son! Instead of moving what you want to the back, move what you want to the front!

When you click something you drew, does it say "shape" or "drawing object" in properties? And arraging to back, arranging to front, same difference. I just used arrange to back as an example. BTW, I use it for when I draw a line after I draw the head, and want the line behind he head. But, y'know, I could've used arrange to front on the head to get the same effect. Nope. All in ONE layer. I'm dead serious.

Nope. All in ONE layer. I'm dead serious. I don't think you get it, because I don't think you know what I'm saying here. Let me illustrate: Here's what used to happen when I clicked a non-symbol object. Notice how it selects the whole thing? (I made it a symbol here because that's the only way I could show you what used to happen, so imagine it's not a symbol) This is what happens now when I do the EXACT same thing. What happens with all of you, as far as I can tell. These fucking dots. Remember, all the conditions are the same. Nothing is a symbol, everything is in one layer. Except one thing. It used to be a drawing object, and now it's a shape. Get it?

Hmm....would...uninstalling flash turn all the settings back to default? Then I just re-install it and everything is back to normal. Would this work? Because I'm desperate.

Aha, Mcjesus. Proof that I am not bullshitting you: A .fla from our grudgematch. RR's leg. Not a symbol, A DRAWING OBJECT. I select just part of it, and flash automatically selects it in it's entirety. I do the same with multiple drawing objects and the same thing happens.Notice the X two, non-symbol, objects make in the one and very same layer? The things I drew before yesterday in this .fla, are all drawing objects. Anything I add in the very same .fla becomes a shape, further proving that's the problem. This, my friends, is how i used to make my pictures: Confortable and easy as fuck. There's no denying that I was not high, God didn't lie to me, neither did flash. I just changed some setting which i can't find anymore. [E] The very same leg, selected and showing it's a drawing object. [E2] Something I drew today, next to the leg I drew a couple days ago. This is a shape, that's why it has the dots.

Well all the things I select are those dots. They were always shapes, no "drawing objects". I guess if you cant find what you did before you could always use the final solution.

lolhuh topic has served its purpose, requesting lock But before that happens, I thought I'd explain myself. All you need to do is press that button. It gets rid of those annoying ass dots, and makes everything you draw a drawing object. This button is located in that place after you select the brush, circle, and blabblah tools.
