When I try and draw in MS paint, the lines are all bumpy and everything just ends up looking like what a three year old would draw. Sometimes things you guys draw dont even look like they were done in MS paint! They look like they've been done in photoshop or some other over-priced thing! Please, tell me how to draw better in Ms paint...

These lazy, stick-drawing bastards here will tell you it's all in the line and curve tools. But if you're actually putting EFFORT into your drawings, it's Paint Brush + Steady hand FTW.

Don't put the arms so close to the center of the chest. Also, If you want the Photoshop look, use Paint.Net (Getpaint.net) and install many Plug-ins. It's Free! ;D

No need to call us Bastards. Or lazy. We draw sticks because it's faster. You said you'd make sheep a stick in your profile. What do you have against people who use sticks? They don't draw sticks all the time.

It takes practice (Trust me, this is important), a steady hand and some time to make the picture look good. Don't rush yourself. My advice to you would be to make your curve/straight lines for your body thicker. It makes your character look a lot better. Also for the paint brush tool, you can try using thinner/smaller sized brushes to make precise little details show up better. Example: I've drawn two characters with the same traits. The only difference is the thickness of the brush. Make of that what you will. Another thing I noticed is that you don't really give your drawings outlines. You wouldn't need to do that for your character since his entire body is purple, but for other things like the Godzilla monster, you should make an outline. Good luck drawing! These lazy, stick-drawing bastards here will tell you it's all in the line and curve tools. But if you're actually putting EFFORT into your drawings, it's Paint Brush + Steady hand FTW. That only works with a fullbody character, not a stick. 99.9% of the time, trying to make a stick body with paint brush does not look as good as one done with curve and line. Though a really good idea is to try and mix curve, line and paint brush together accordingly. Most of the time, I don't find that necessary, but others it can be really useful.

How to draw stick figures Except don't make his arm come out of his head. . . It's just one of my methods. It's supposed to be the dimensions of the shoulder.

The shoulder comes at the neck. Not at the head. Speaking of which, why don't your sticks have any necks? Ever?

Hey, fuck the line tool! It's all about a steady hand, even if it's just sticks.
I avoid the Line Tool like the plague.

Even drawing sticks is a PAIN IN THE ANUS for me.
I stick with the pencil tool for the body (well,I draw mostly fullbodies, but that's not the point) and an oval, not a circle, for the head to make room for the face traits (though I'm thinking of changing it to a bigger circular head in the near future).
Okay, sorry for elongating that so much,I'm back on track. If drawing sticks is your aim,I reccomend the curve and circle tool. For the face traits use paintbrush, curves and/or the pencil.
But the best advice I can give you is this: Trial and Error are your best friends. If you aren't happy with the way you did something re-do it until you break your fingers or you smash everyting out of frustation or you achieve what you wanted.Whichever comes first.
Any questions?

Yes. How much brain surgerys did you operate? Don't want to know, Anyway, it's only important for the body, arms, and legs to be thicker.
