Good thing I'm smart and can adapt to pics posted during the drawing of my own. For clarification, the last panel is the smoke dissipating, as well as an angry exploded Sphaera looming over a semi-unconscious Nitro.

I think RK is referring to the first grudge Nitro and I had, where Nitro avoided one of my attacks because I accidentally drew his headband red.

When the heck was Nitro able to talk to Balto like that? Characters can't detect when other characters are about to die, and you obviously can't talk to him AFTER he's dead...
Anyway, I had Spike use that reasoning to assume Nitro was going nuts or something, and made up the whole 'screams from the ground' business to play along, kind of in a mocking kind of sense. Spike didn't actually hear anything.
...I sense fourth wall breaking here...

Well, I was likely going to join another thread(s) after I was finished with this one.
But anyway, I see your point on the whole "don't draw big pictures" thing; it just seems that, IF you wanted to draw something big, then it would definitely help if you could insure that it won't get broken, hence the reserves.
Calling a reserve on another character is bullshit when there's only 3 people remaining, but it seems like it would work in a 4+ man battle, because you're at least leaving everyone who isn't part of the reserve some other target and thusly won't run out their timers.
But I completely understand the rationale behind a "no reserves" rule, regardless of the amount of people participating in the thread, so let's just run with it.

Well yes, that's a good reason to remove the reserves.
But keep in mind that, without reserves in play, you risk someone butting in with their picture and cutting you off mid-draw. Like, let's say I was one panel away from finishing a 50 panel comic, and someone else posted a halfassed picture affecting the location and circumstances of my target, thereby breaking my picture and forcing me to start over draw something else. That seems like an equally big issue as the whole reserve business, because it actually punishes you for trying to put larger amounts of effort into your pics.
It seems there'll be inherent flaws in either system.
I'm neutral on the matter; I just used the reserves because I didn't want to get screwed over badly by the aforementioned reason, but I'm game to use either method. I'll just have to make my pictures smaller, that's all.
(Nitro check the previous page for my response)

Merged into one post to avoid cluttering the page: . . . . . There's no rule about having reserves, but I generally try to time them so they don't screw anybody over timewise. Case in point, if I had waited the reserve out to the end(which I'm about to, actually .___.), Des would still have ~44 hours to respond. I'm willing to abolish reserves if the consensus says yes, but at the very least, lemme finish this reserve off before that. . . . . . Okay, second the motion to abolish reserves?

Did you read my request? It's up to you who's reserve takes precedence, but I'll be in a bit of a bind if you...

36 hour reserve on Nitro.
Nitro, this will leave you with ~48 hours if I wait it out to the end. You okay with that?

I see no problem with Nitro still using his powers.
In fact, I was kind of expecting him to take the face scarf out of his mouth before doing anything, but yeah, your way works too.

Nitro imo looks like a pimp when he's wearing the hat only, without the face-scarf. I understand Nitro's immune to explosions, but the "push" factor from the explosion inside his mouth WILL cause some damage.

Now that I'm looking at that list
It's... almost a combination of John and Spike's powers.
Almost.
Edit: Come on Grent I make John do the same thing with his foot lasers for flight... cut Nitro some slack on this point. Although I do admit the whole energy out of anywhere for flight IS kind of pointless in Rialto's case since he already has one viable method of flight.

Well, Flash does basically the same thing. Since the AI doesn't switch out, it gives me enough time to revive my entire team.
Besides, non-hold items are also banned in competitive play too, you know. ;p

Double Team, man, Double Team Opponent accuracy drops to 3/4 after one uses 3/5 after two uses 3/6 after three uses 3/7 after four uses 3/8 after five uses 3/9 after six uses Although it is banned in competitive Pokemon... w/e. I only have a team of four right now: Serperior (Lv. 77) Leaf Blade/Giga Drain/Flash/Toxic I don't really focus on EVs/IVs throughout the storyline, so Serperior's Attack and Special Attack are about even, and considering his limited moveset, I just gave him one physical and one special Grass attack. Flash is there if the opponent is clearly going to rape Serperior, and since the AI doesn't know to switch Pokemon, it helps. Toxic is there in case I get into a 'Revive Lock,' as it were, so the opponent dies while I'm busy spamming my 100 Revives. Hydreigon (Lv. 76) Dragon Pulse/Flamethrower/Hyper Voice/Focus Blast Just a high Special Attacker with a varied moveset. Good for lots of type coverage, imo. Zoroark (Lv. 76) Night Slash/Dig/Shadow Claw/Night Daze He has a higher Attack, but Special Attack comes close enough, so I've got type coverage, and a fallback move in case I need to hit something with a higher Defense stat. The AI also falls for Zoroark's Illusion ability, so it helps when they keep shooting off Psychic even though it's not doing anything. Druddigon (Lv. 76) Dragon Claw/Night Slash/Revenge/Double Team Big Attack stat, and Double Team definitely helps when running through the storyline, especially since very few AI trainers have "sure-hit" moves. The varied moveset covers a lot of ground. Dragon type is at least normal effective against all but Steel types, which is where Revenge comes in. The Rough Skin ability also comes in handy when I get forced into a "Full Restore lock," killing the opponent off each time they hit me. . . . . . I may or may not be a Poke-nerd ._.;

Obviously, this isn't the finisher for Balto, but given the amount of stuff I intend to draw, combined with a midterm and a college project coming up, I'm definitely gonna need a quick time reset. Needless to say, I call another reserve on Balto, likely for the whole week. Also, panel 6 torso up = full awesome? I think the size 2 pencil IS starting to pay off.
