The logo needs the paint brush. The SPB logo should always have the paint brush. With out the paint brush it just isn't complete... Edit: CMYK attempt [image] I don't understand why we'd be using CMYK. SPB is inherently digital, hence the RGB. CMYK is used mainly for print, which we have no connections to. The logo needs the paint brush. The SPB logo should always have the paint brush. With out the paint brush it just isn't complete... DO YOU SEE A PAINTBRUSH IN OUR CURRENT LOGO?

DO YOU SEE A PAINTBRUSH IN OUR CURRENT LOGO? well, i'm totally mad about CMYK, i almost work with it every day, CMYK are key colors to compose different colors, RGB is mostly used for light and texture. And we don't really concentrate on that. CMYK is superior to RGB also, now with moar paintbrush.

CMYK is superior to RGB Not true. CMYK are the key colors for subtractive color mixing, as in paints or ink. RGB are the primary colors for additive color mixing, as in light, like from a monitor. So, once again, CMYK=print, RGB=computer. DO YOU SEE A PAINTBRUSH IN OUR CURRENT LOGO? Yes. I see 4 ...wait, THOSE things are paintbrushes? I always assumed they were rockets or something...

also, now with moar paintbrush Okay, that looks absolutely fantastic. I just had to say that. It's stylish, but simple.

Ok, that was a hyperbole, but they're way too light for my tastes, and I seriously don't like the yellow.

Fixed And since destructin and others keep complaining, why don't you throw in a paintbrush leaning against the side or something, McJ?

since a minority of you faggots people are bitching about the color on my logo concept (DUUUR IT AINT RGB IT HAS TO BE RGB DURRR), i decided to experiment with the color schemes, and yes there is a RGB one. god damnit. i even took the liberty to name them. I know they aren't the best, but it takes a lot of thinking, and i'm not much of a thinker. hope you are finally pleased, because in the porcess, you pissed of jorgé

Y'know I was talking to grent about colour schemes and I figgered, "why not have dynamic colour schemes? change the hue to make it your own!"

Yeah, we could have a 5-color custom scheme that the user picks, and the logo could reflect the colors chosen. The different colors would be (with the current setup's colors in parenthesis): - Text color (black)
- Post/text background color (white)
- Primary site background color (blue)
- Secondary site background color (moar different blue)
- Tertiary (detail) site background color (yellow)
The logos might looks something like this, then: Option A: (Background=Text background, Line 1/text=text color, Line 2=secondary site color [this was an error on my part, I'd switch the colors of lines 2 and 3], Line 3/Brush handle=primary site color, Line 4=tertiary site color) Option B: (Background=primary site color, Line 1/text=text color, Line 2=secondary site color, Line 3=text background color, Line 4/brush handle=tertiary site color) I personally like B the most, and of course changes can be made (like which color the brush inherits from; I was also thinking the brush handle might be a constant color no matter what the settings are).

idea about the forum thing. maybe out in a sepret board from the rest that only vets and legends can go in. To keep the original community freash, and to get away from all the new guys. (plus a place that we could use for our planning for the site and any up comming games and what not)
