fillerHello? If there is anyone out there, we need help. We are survivors of the outburst here in Brawl City, but we don’t know how longer we can hold them off. The Southern skirts have been completely over run by them and they seem to be progressing upwards very quickly. We can’t push them back whatsoever, only slow down their movement. Please, if there is anyone can hear us, we’re in a world of hurt here right now…
Chapter One: The Villain’s Appearance
~ A couple of months ago~
fillerMarkus suddenly sat up in bed, coming out of a nightmare. He shifted his view to the outside. Normal. Nothing was out of the ordinary. He flopped back in bed. For days, he’s had the same nightmare and it always had to do with brawl being attack by a certain evil. It was different every time, but he concluded they all somehow were linked. He knew it was just a dream and not real life, but it had somehow had to be a prediction; a foresight of an upcoming catastrophe that would completely destroy brawl.
fillerHe quickly got out of bed and grabbed his polished, golden gauntlet. He began to head for the door when he suddenly realized something. He had a grudge match with Firemario1 today. He then turned around and began searching for some items he bought from Brawl Mart that would assist him during his battle. He found a GS ball and a McJesus Wildcard assist trophy. He grabbed those and headed out the door of his apartment room. He headed for the southern side of Brawl where he agreed to fight Firemario1. He found Firemario1 standing in plain view where he appeared annoyed that Markus was late.
filler“Why are you so late?” Firemario quickly questioned in an impatient tone.
filler"I took a nap, ok? It doesn’t concern you. Let’s just get this over with”
filler“I will not be humiliated by this defeat Markus. You started this, and I’m going to end it!”
filler"Yah, sure you are” Markus said with a grin forming at the edges of his cheeks.
fillerMarkus got in a fighting position while his gauntlet glowed a bright yellow. Firemario, seeming completely confident in his victory, made a little fire show with his pyrokinetic ability. Suddenly, the ground split right between the two brawlers. A dark red glow burst out of the fissure that appeared and the ground began to shake.
filler“What the-?!” Markus exclaimed, “Is this you doing this Firemario?!”
filler“NO!” Firemario yelled back over the noise of the rumbling.
fillerAn explosion erupting from the crevasse knocked them both back a full 15 ft. Markus managed to maneuver himself and landed back on his feet, still sliding backward with dust expelling from underneath their feet from the force that threw them.
filler“McJesus and Grimscott will sure like to see this” Markus said to himself remembering the Assist trophy and GS ball he had with him.
fillerMarkus then threw the GS ball, repeating Grimscott’s name three times. He immediately took out the Wildcard Assist Trophy and held it up as it began to glow brightly. Out of nowhere, Grimscott and McJesus appeared with a fighting spirit emerging from their faces. The fighting spirit soon vanished as they noticed the strange opening in the ground, which was beginning to expand.
filler“Uh oh…Something big is about to happen” said McJesus
filler“And it ain’t going to be good” finished Grimscott
