it's happening right fucking now! Mega upload was taken down because of the bills even though they haven't passed yet. Anon is taking down several websites that belong to people who support sopa. Which site do you guys think will go down next!?

megaupload kind of had it coming though, they didn't police their content very well and so there was a lot of illegal content on the site, and then they tried to profit off of it, which is even more illegal

megaupload kind of had it coming though, they didn't police their content very well and so there was a lot of illegal content on the site, and then they tried to profit off of it, which is even more illegal its nearly impossible to police a site that huge. illegal content comes and goes by the millions. you would need THOUSANDS of mods to sift through all that streams through their site. hell, those mods may even have to download the files just to confirm that its stolen, people can simply change the file names and what not to throw those mods off. So now they have to look through EVERYTHING to make sure none of it is illegal.

Zarth, you always overreact to shit like this. Yes, it sucks that the site was taken down, but they were charging for their service when a majority of their material was pirated. And there's a difference between "being unable to police everything" and "not even giving a shit."
