Hmmm... I'm pretty sure Eddie aren't in any of those classes... the only ability is to teleport his own band to him... x) Since he has no powers, he'd sort of fall under non-brawler, although since he fights he's also sort of a brawler by definition. He could also be counted as a Leader for the band thing unless he's magically teleporting them to him, in which case he does have a power and is a brawler and is probably a caster.

OK he's immortal, that I can accept, but now he can regrow lost limbs? What happens if he gets his head cut off? Will it regrow a new body? Or will he remain a head until aid comes? What if you blow both of his legs off? Will they regenerate to? He can't die(Its not like anyone was going to intentionally kill someone anyway unless given permission, because we're all gentlemen), does having an arm count towards the next plot device? You just needed that arm to continue? Oh, and lets not forget our friend the pain factor. Getting your arm cut off would hurt like a bitch, especially by a jagged torn piece of helicopter rotor. Lacerations and what not.
I know getting an arm cut off would really suck, and it would hinder your character. So you want him to stay at 100% so there won't be any complications in the future, but as soon as he was made immortal, you opened up a can of shit and its about to get everywhere. Now that Hellion is immortal you don't have to worry about "Am I doing too much?" or limit yourself to simple kicks, punches and headbutts, but now you can actually incinerate, maim, mutilate, and gore him, living with the fact he'll recover, that and death no longer applies to him.
What I think immortality means is that you can't die, Period. Not coupled with regeneration. Regeneration is something in its own. The only reason I can see fit to using regeneration is if you don't want your character to be horrendously disfigured.
Don't forget to update the list on the first page I'm only posting this here to see if anyone else have any views on the matter. Deal with it, it's a plot device, he's not permanently immortal and he now has the same weaknesses as Aiden. At least five people participating in this thread consented to him getting immortal-status, and I'm sure you'd be one of the very few if not the only person objecting to him being able to regenerate a limb. We are aware that no brawler can literally die without the owner's consent, but that makes it pointless that he went to all the trouble of becoming a grim reaper if it's without any perks. Seriously, there is already a brawler in this thread that can kill him, and I'm going to be adding one too, sorry that you can't be the little center of attention and slice off the main villain's arm without being completely victorious. Don't bring the realism bullshit like "OH IF YOU GET YOUR ARM CUT OFF THEN IT'D HURT AND YOU'D GO INTO SHOCK AND PROBABLY LOSE A LOT OF BLOOD AND MAYBE EVEN PASS OUT", because even in the last couple of months you did the same thing with Nitro in 1 Week Battle where he gets his arm sliced off not once, but twice and just completely shrugs it off, just like any brawler does. This is a story-driven thread, and Hellion is currently the only villain with like 10-15 brawlers fighting against him, I'd say that balances out being able to regrow his arm. And uh, pic reserve for the dudes in the Santanic Church.

Remember the summer, or during the middle of one week battle, we got a surplus of new users. What did we do to get them? And what can we do to get them again? We got a couple of users from Facepunch so we decided to go onto the Facepunch MSPaint section and join some random-ass thread with our brawlers. It was fun, but most of the new guys we got didn't stick around too long, aside from a select few, and after hanging around the FP MSpaint section, most of us quickly found out that even the most mediocre artists there are elitist dickheads, and the place was being completely controlled by terrible trolls due to very, very bad modding, and also because the idiotic community basically praised and coddled the trolls to the point that they were on a pedestal that sheltered their troll-status. We even got a few of their more annoying users on here (Alex/Jewdozer). So yeah, fuck going back there. Also, making forced and uninviting threads on random drawing forums will just confuse and irritate people, so fuck that too.

Hey, I'm working on something for all the people in the tank (Hellion, black dude, Chief, Aiden, Messiah, Eddie, MVG, charred skeleton), so it'd be cool if nobody messed with those guys for now.

Water, Rock, Ground and... uh, there's probably something more, you get the point I think That. Don't think about the weakness too literally, because if you decide the weakness by just picturing what would happen if you threw something at the sun, then your character is going to be pretty overpowered defensively. Try looking at it in principle. If they're an elemental character, the easiest way to go is to put on an elemental weakness, like DJ suggested. You could be more creative with the weakness, but like I said, try to look at it less literally if you're having a hard time with the weakness. Oh, and if you're interested in joining a thread at all, I'd be willing to have a grudge match with you.

And making murder illegal doesn't stop people from murdering people either, but it's still a good idea. Somehow, whenever someone does a comparison like that, I know a bunch of people are going to try to turn the argument on them like this: Are you really comparing doing a Let's Play to homicide? Yeah Metal, you're right, but comparing murder with video game footage is way out of proportions. you're just saying uploading a video now is in the same boat as murder. And those are extremely dumb counter-arguments. It is the same fucking principle. Just because a law is not going to stop people from committing crimes doesn't mean the law should not be enforced. Metal is not trying to imply that "STREAMING COPYRIGHTED CONTENT = MURDER!!!1!", it's just that people need to make that comparison to put it in a way that you can understand, because apparently it's very fucking hard to grasp the concept. Making it so streaming stolen material is punishable with fines and prison time would certainly make people more reluctant to do it. Just because it will not put a 100% stop to piracy doesn't mean it'd be a useless endeavor.

(as in i'm stepping in to comment on why this shouldn't be passed so i don't understand why i shouldn't be giving criticism shackles) For the most part, I'm not arguing because you gave that criticism. I'm arguing because you did it in a needlessly rude way. And also, "HURRDURR YOU COPIED" is not a valid criticism in my opinion, since every idea for every character on here has been done before, and arguing with eachother over who, out of a group of less than 50 people, took what power first is just stupid. Ken already said he didn't copy Balto, it's just a coincidental similarity, so I think we should just leave it at that. If it were overpowered or vague, that'd be something to argue against, but not this.

well shackles this is his old roster, i'm saying this is pretty much balto's thing. his roster states of having two "auras" light/good and dark/evil. so what if i'm being a hypocrite? would it really matter if i was or wasn't? i mean what i'm saying is the truth anyway. besides, balto was exactly the first user on SPB forums, and he's also another user, not a game. I'm saying you shouldn't be giving criticisms, especially not rude ones, when you're guilty of the same thing you're arguing against.

Oh hey valve what are you doin-- Oh its just MVG. the thing is ken, in the original thread (where i created mvg) you could choose who you could've been (you could've been pico for christ sake) you're pretty much blatantly ripping off balto, one who's been here for quite some time. Ken made Rick shortly after SPB moved to Proboards. The similarity in powers is coincidental, like Bulet->Gunsmith. There are similarities between Balto and Rick's powers, but I'd agree with Ken that you're being a hypocrite to criticize him over that when your character is just a copy of Portal. Saying "WELL WE COULD BE AS MUCH OF AN UNORIGINAL FAGGOT AS WE WANTED TO BACK THEN" doesn't help your argument.

Power will be discovered during matches. Sorry, but it doesn't work like that. One of the main points of making a roster is so people know what your character's powers are and so the community can make sure your character isn't overpowered before you start jumping into matches. I know you're trying to make it all mysterious and stuff, but I really think it'd be better if you just said what the power was. (Also cool picture)

What? They're taking away OUR RIGHT as human beings to stream copyrighted material on the internet without permission from it's owner? What will we do?!?!?
Seriously, if this helps in stopping people from stealing movies, music, and other material, then I couldn't give less of a shit if videogames LP'ers go down as a side-effect.

Want to know what amazes me? That people will complain, bitch, and argue about the most trivial things in the world, things that only the most whiny, nit-picky people would give a flying fuck about, then once something actually worthy of hatred comes along, they go all bullshit moralist on everyone.

It's actually just santiva who hates it. I like it. This. I just get annoyed at bad grammar. I just put "burnt" there because I felt like I needed another descriptive word there, then when you mentioned it I was too lazy to take it out. If it really bothers you that much, I can remove it. Controlling ashes is like holding in an orgasm. Everybody wants to do it, but what good will it do? There's been powers that are a lot less useful than controlling ash, like making colorful arms grow out of the ground. I based the ash powers on the idea of a phoenix, the strongest and most notable ability it has is to be reborn from it's own ashes after dying. Also, it's useful for more than straight offense, it can be used to blind enemies and shroud areas in clouds of ash as a smoke-screen. I also thought of adding an ability where she can encase people's body-parts in ashes and temporarily turn their limbs into statues, or even their entire bodies as a finishing move. It can also be useful for just general attacking by forming it into fists and swords and shit, like people with sand or water powers. And I know the fire-mode is simple, but I really like elemental powers, even if they're overused. Fire in particular is a cool power and I don't think people use it to it's full potential enough, so that's why I added it.

I got 16 with Cutlass, and I wanted to make sure that my score wasn't that low because I was biased towards adding/subtracting points in favor of my own character, I had Grent do Cutlass too and he got the exact same score.
I'm afraid of doing Shackles because I know 90% of the things about him are clichés.
E: Actually, Shackles got a 33. Not as bad as I expected, but I guess he'll need work at some time or another.
