This thread (replacing Artist Tier Rankings) is where you come to offer criticisms on other members' art as a whole. In its purest form, this thread is simply a list of pros and cons, although you can write in full sentences if you're grammatically opposed to lists. Either way, list what you think is good and bad about the artist's art, and the mods might get around to editing it into a spoilered list in the main post that's sorted by artist.
AND SO IT WAS
So without further ado, get reviewing!

Pros: Cartoony style art, art most of the time makes sense.
Cons: I have to be honest, your stick figure renditions look odd. That and you don't seem to take risks.
(Grimscott)
Pros: Pictures are typically cartoony and fun. Does very well with sequential art (comics pretty much always make sense, never badly executed). Lulz.
Cons: Varying quality in pictures, particularly color-wise. Hasn't seem to have made very much artistic improvement. Doesn't always bother to get other people's character designs right all the time.

Pros: Pictures are basically cute, cartoony and jovial. Shading's okay.
Cons: Art style is still sorta simple. The wizard dude going "Magic!" made me think of Psibat, which shows you still need to flesh out your own art style just a wee bit.

Pros: hot damn man, no one can imitate you. You have this beautiful linework, making everything look cinematic and epic, and 3d looking.
Cons: though you're linework is great, it doesn't really look good on human fullbodies, though I have a feeling you'll overcome this.
(Grimscott)
Pros: Best line/curve tool user ever. Hands blow my mind. Perspective is awesome. Coloring and shading is too. Can be amusing or badass.
Cons: Some smallish anatomy things (Roid-thulhu has an eight pack). Plus line tool is still line tool.
(RabiesIsMe)
Pros: Your shading and perspective always impressed me, and you particularly shine when drawing bloodlust. Your pictures are also very, very streamlined.
Cons: Same as me, pretty much. Haven't seen anything from you in a while, but you are busy with other things, I assume, whereas I am out getting blunted or just generally procrastinating for no reason.
(Kromax)
Pros:Your style looks very clean, and has a great unique feature to it, I thinks it's how your lacking outlines of most characters (You don't have the black outline and then you color inside the lines, the color is the lines) and it's just pleasant to look at.
Cons:Sometimes it's a bit too clean, and never really has a "HOLY SHIT THAT WAS SO AWESOME" moment (You got the skills to pay some bills, but the bill always seems a bit cheap) Sometimes your movements seem a bit in direct (His arm goes from to his side, to something like the end of an uppercut, this isn't exactly bad, but you seem to have the power to make it look a little nicer.

Pros: Your pictures are fluid, they are on action steroids, and your expressions never cease to amaze me. Your sticks are great, your full bodies are great, you shading, color, backgrounds, everything about your art is great.
Cons: Your art is great, but what I want to start seeing from you is more realism. I can imagine your style with dash of realistic views. Although your art right now is very anatomically correct, I want to see you shoot for realistic pictures. I'm not asking for a permanent change bwt, I just want to see how you would do it.

Pros: You have a really good coloring and detail. Your stickfigures are wonderful.
Cons: Posing can be off sometimes, some anatomy issues around sometimes.
(MadVideoGamer)
Pros: VERY colorful! pays attention to detail a lot.
Cons: fullbodies- anatomical and placement can be off, sometimes poses seem awkward.
(Ministry/Playplaya2)
Pros: Amazing stick figures, sense of humor that translates well into her art. Good at drawing kilts.
Cons: Fullbodies just don't seem... right. It's hard to explain. You're in the realm of "meh" between realism and cartoonism.
(Snakeskull)
Pros: Outstanding attention to details/accessories, nice blend of colors, excellent use of comedy, fluid poses of stick figures and improving attention of anatomical affairs.
Cons: Not too many to point out, but it seems that the poses on your full bodies can be slightly stiff, of course for now. Very few shading problems, mainly with source of light, but that's all.
Overall, you have shown immense improvement, especially in the past month. Your full bodies are becoming more frequent, and more fluid, and your colors are continuing to amaze me. Keep up the good work!

Pros: You have a smooth, stylish way of drawing and amusing expressions, and your comic strips are coherent and easily understood.
Cons: The way you draw character poses can sometimes be sort of odd, as though the characters slack in their movements, so maybe you should work on more normal-looking ones. And a lot of times, the hair you draw on characters is overly jagged or their bodies are too thin.
(Snakeskull)
Pros: In your pictures, it's easy to follow, easy to understand. You also have a good use of comical attacks, and I appreciate how you have a keen ability to point out much action in your pictures.
Cons: Not much shading. You poses can be sometimes stiff. Also, you don't seem to be too great at stick men.
There is room for improvement with you John, but you have shown clear improvement before. I feel that if you apply yourself, you can end up being one of the best artists here. I wish you good luck on your journey.

Pros: A great style, really good anatomy and coloring.
Cons: You really rush things, making them look undone, I feel that if you really try on something, and make it look done, you would be the best.
(Grimscott)
Pros: Is capable of using a variety of art styles at the drop of a hat, and does pretty good with them. Drawings can be pretty funny.
Cons: Lack of detail and color. Drawings are clearly done rather quickly (which isn't a bad thing on it's own, but combined with the first two things, it is).
My conclusion is that your pictures are basically pretty good, you just need to spend more time on them to make them look even better. I'm not sure why you ignore colors and detail all the time. It seems clear to me that you can color well (dat mallet), you're just in too much of a hurry to do so. Which I think holds you back.
(Snakeskull)
Pros: A good, articulate style of anime is what you posses. When you put serious emphasis into it, your proportions, details, and colors can be excellent.
Cons: This unfortunate truth is, you tend to rush you pictures, not minding to delete many concept liens in your work. Also, many of these pictures lack color/background. Coby, I feel that if you spend more time on your work, you will be a very respected artists on the website. I just want to see this dedication from you.
(Grent)
Pros:Your silly, cartoony style makes fore some hilarious pictures, and when you draw anime/manga-style, you're one of the best.
Cons:You seem to have gained a tendency to rush your pictures nowadays, which usually didn't turn out too bad, until you started rushing the rushed pics. That and MVG seems to be the only male you'll ever draw.

Pros: The best style around, lots of guys took inspiration from you, you have great anatomy, awesome coloring, and you can make everything epic looking, almost all the times.
Cons: Not many, but sometimes you rush your work.
(Taylor)
Pros: Interesting style. Constantly Evolving. Funny.
Cons: Anatomy () sort of sloppy sometimes. pencil drawings= shit
Your style is pretty legit, it's sort of borderline realism, except the male physiques look weird sometimes (WAY to broad shoulders). i like it, it's true and fun to look at. Your pencil and pen drawings look like crap, but that's either me, or your scanner, you specialty is PC works, and i have no problem with that, i just really detest your IRL work...

Pros: You have excellent shading whenever you put in the effort and your drawings are great. I love how you don't use outlines in some of your work and it adds the appeal to it. You have a way to make things look shiny and I find that a valuable skill also. You can feature the comical elements when the time calls for it and your use of detail adds even more appeal. You have a skill that's well trained and developed for your own style.
Cons: None from me at the moment, maybe from someone who's more observant then I.

Well uh... I don't want to be mean or anything but this is the critique thread...
You've posted five images in the last month and they're all stick figures.
And kind of messy too.
This doesn't really scream of effort to me, to be honest. It looks like you spent about a minute to draw both panels.
Obviously as you have 3000 posts or so you've been here a bit longer than me and I haven't seen much of what you did before I joined, but I think maybe you should wait a little longer before asking for a review.
I'm sure nobody minds sketchy drawings in match threads, but drawing them and then asking for an artist review isn't exactly a good idea, in my opinion.
Like whats special about my style, do I even have a style, how my fullbodies hold up, how my stick people hold up, the structural integrity of my art, the way scenes transition from one scene to another, you know all that stuff. What I need to improve on, the way I draw explosions, the visual effects of my surroundings, my way of shading. Hell, even dialog. Yeah I'm looking for it all.
I can't comment on two years because I've only been here a bit more than a month but I'll tell you about what I've seen then if it helps. Once again I'm trying my best not to be cruel, especially as you've obviously been working hard to improve recently, but this is the critique thread so I'm not going to pretend everything is great if it's not because that wouldn't really be any help at all
I think some of your stuff is pretty good, but despite all of your "careful creativity" you still tend to rush things too much which ends up reducing the quality and also (as you seem to have noticed yourself) make it a little hard to tell what is going on sometimes.
There's no need to be in a hurry, nobody will mind if it takes you a while because it means you will end up with a better picture!
Some more general advice now, most of the stuff on the right I think is an example of where you do well and the left is less good.
The first one is an example of where you could have just put a little more time in. If you can tell that you've drawn it wrong enough to write a little comment underneath then you can go back and try to fix it The picture under that just looks sort of messy with random lines all over the place and some sort of confused anatomy.
These are examples of where a little more time could have
I also think that drawing lines and crumples at random is a good way of making your image look badly drawn even if it's not. Draw no more lines than necessary, adding extra ones just makes it look strange.
That explosion is very good I think, but the black squiggly lines you've drawn around it sort of detract from the image. I'd personally not draw any lines coming out of an explosion because firstly that... doesn't actually really happen when things explode and secondly because it really just doesn't look very nice.
Unless it's meant to be an exploding string factory.
I'd like to talk about how you draw lines, or more specifically how thick they are.
You always seem to use thicker lines for the head than for everything else, which can look sort of weird. I think a lot of the blue lines I've drawn over your pictures are just where you can't seem to decide on a pen size. You should pick one and then stick to it!
Now, you mainly seem to use the one pixel pencil tool which is fine, but I think you might actually find your job a bit easier if you used a thicker one instead. Chunkier lines might make it harder to draw smaller but they also make things look smoother. If you are going to continue using one pixel lines I would reccomend a method we use on Picture Wars for spriting called the "line rule", where basically you remove every pixel that isn't in a diagonal line. That's a pretty bad explanation but I've drawn an example somewhere on there that probably explains it better than I can do in words.
This will of course probably take a staggeringly long time if you're using the pencil tool all the time, so you probably only need to apply it to bits that look sharp when they should be smooth, use your own judgement. Or a thicker pen.
Honestly I think the pencil tool isn't very good for effects either, or at least not if you're just going to scribble all over something as an effect. This is really talking about the bit at the bottom now, I think you have to agree that it's not exactly amazing. Try drawing it all out with the pencil and filling it instead of just scribbling over the top and I think it would look better. (I drew this too in case you didn't notice)
So yeah summary:
You post a lot and that's good
Pick a line width and stick with it
Less scribbling
Smoother lines
Maybe try and post a little more slowly so you can spend more time on individual panels, if you see a mistake fix it instead of labelling it

Pros: Cartoony and fun. The characters themselves seem simple at first glance, but there's some really neat detail behind it all. Shading and colors are pretty good. Emotes were fantastic.
Cons: Some anatomy issues. I can't suggest much else except more detail (I know that sort of contradicts one of my Pros statements, but still).
(Ministry/Playplaya2)
Pros: As has been said, you have a simplistic yet not-so-simplistic art style. Your expressions bring a smile to my face, and having the freedom to draw whatever the hell you want a la Psibat's retardation only serves to make me laugh a little harder.
Cons: While your characters are decently shaded, the environments you draw them in are less so. It's a stark contrast. Also, I do like even small amounts of serious content in pictures, and yous are just over the top lulzfests.
(Snakeskull)
Pros: You seem to have a comically impressive way of expressing your full bodies, especially in your latest picture. Poses are quite nice, quite fluid in your full body. You have a good general idea of not only comical use, but also of facial expressions, which I applaud.
Cons: Your stick figures seem to baffle me. They seem to not be so fluid, or quite so curvaceous, if you know what I mean. Also, backgrounds of your pictures could use some work, as they seem to be (no offence) to simple.
PsiBat, I applaud your use of full bodies, I I frankly recommend using them more, especially since you are more superior in them. I would also like to see you continue to thrive in your already clear improvement. I'm glad that you have improved so much thus far.
(Grent)
Pros: Your art has a cool, cartoon-y feel that I really like. As I was telling Grim, just about anything you draw looks like it could be wearing a top hat without detracting from it. And yes, I consider that a good thing.
Cons: You regrettably seem to be unwilling to draw serious things, and even if you did, I'm not so sure your art style would fit with it. Also, as mentioned earlier, your backgrounds could use work.

Pros: I like your style Rabies, it reminds me of a nice animation, smooth and non pixelated. You are one of the best Flash artists I have seen to date. Many people say that Flash is easy to use, but are they wrong, and you go out there and show that great pictures can be created with that difficult program.
Cons: I'll be blunt, you don't draw enough. e haven't seen a picture from you in nearly months, I'm the same way. I want to see more from you.
(Grent)
Pros:Your art is always very smooth and polished, and you're really good at showing action in your pics. Also, your "special effects" are beautiful.
Cons:As of late, you don't draw often, and I don't think you've shown us a finished pic in months. Honestly I don't remember enough of your work to point out any other particular cons.

Your perspective is absolutely top-notch. You are a candidate defiantly for artist of the year 2010.
Cons: It seems that your emphasis for awesomeness doesn't quite reach characters other than your own, which is understandable. Besides that, keep up the great work.

Pros: Excellent anime art style, the only other person here who could come close to comparing is MVG. There's pretty amazing animal sketches too. Fantastic shading via charcoal, kicks some serious butt with Photoshop.
Cons: The closest I can think of is "Can you draw people who aren't anime style?" I'm really grasping here, I got nothing else. No joke.

Pros: Poses and expressions are cool. Colors are nice enough. Characters pretty cool, funny but not in a more laid-back way I guess? Not sure how to explain.
Cons: More detail and shading would be good.

Pros: You have a nice, fluid style that is pretty recognizable, and that is something that a lot of artists crave.
Cons: The lack of details and change is holding you back from reaching new heights. In the words of that weird Hispanic guy in Pineapple Express: take that shit to the next level.
(Grent)
Pros:Your heads and faces are usually pretty well done, and I personally am a big fan of your robots.
Cons:Your "sketchy" style doesn't fit well with your coloring style, and your fullbodies are usually really angular when they could be a lot smoother and curvy. Also, you're hardly ever around.

Pros: pictures are very colorful and stylish
Cons: it's not only the wings, but the the upper torso bends back to much into the left arm. the transition from the right thigh to the shin is a bit odd, shoulders- yeah they kinda don't work that way. it also seems your put random lines to where you think there's muscle, don't. try looking at anatomy boards or something, because a few lines of muscle is kinda odd and unnapealing. also your shading is all over the place, try one source of light.

Pros: Smooth lines, makes it real good. The hands and posture are great. The improvement between the two years are great
Cons: The wing's anatomy is a bit weird, unless its like that, the nears one is pointing up the furthest one is pointing down

Pros: As of late, your pics have been only astounding my good man! You have shown a massive amount of improvement in just the past 2 months! It is clear that you are taking your art very seriously, my friend. Your latest pictures have been fluid in pose, detailed in background, and up to tone in the mix of comedy and seriousness. I applaud you Shackles. Most Improved of the Year will go to this man!
Cons: I'd like to see more work in shading from you. It is clear that very soon, your stages in improvement will reach this level, and when it does, I hope to see astounding shading from you. Nothing else besides that.

Pros: Amazing detail, coloring, and you really can imitate some people's style.
Cons: Sometimes, things look really awkward, but I think this is intentional. Something I really don't dig is the constant change in style, you always seems to have different ways of drawing things, its not bad, but I would really like you to have one personal style just for you.
(Grent)
Pros: You've got a wonderful habit of drawing things in a way I never would have thought to look at them. In spite of the often distorted figures you draw, your shading never looks odd or misplaced.
Cons: Sometimes you take the distortion a little too far and shit just looks wierd. Also, you handle the colors you choose very well, but sometimes I'm a little confused why you pick certain colors. For example, I don't know why you have SnakeSkull wearing an orange shirt (I'm used to it by now but the original color choice was odd).
I really like how you almost always try to draw things differently. You give new perspective to your characters (and everyone else's) that I never would have used. The downside to this is sometimes you overdo the wierdness and it ends up a tad jarring and odd. Still, it's a small price to pay for the rest of your art.
(Grimscott)
Pros: Can have some very nice detail. Awesome colors and shading. Characters can be drawn quite well and realistically. Unique art style.
Cons: Art style varies quite a bit. Sometimes characters are realistic and awesome, other times SHIZ BE CRAZY. Which isn't necessarily bad, but consistency is nice, you know? Proportions can be a bit odd, characters can look weird, but that could just be your art style, which takes the word "unique" and runs wild with it (That's not an insult).
