I still think the boss(es) should be designed specifically for the game and not be somebody's character, but meh. Well, most character bosses will really just be regular characters, who may/may not be slightly mre overpowered. Also, for the train, or other endless places, we could possibly get baddies for the Player to fight. Can't figure out what though.

That or you face him in his thrown room or something, I dunno your guises choice on where you would like to fight him, any where is fine with me. It doesn't have to be those two areas. *Explosions sound from below* Zarth: What have you done!? We're losing altitude! Protagonist: Well you know, blown up some key components, its what I do best." (Note: this dialog changes depending on character.) *At this point the ship starts taking a nose dive towards the planet.* Zarth: Fool you've done nothing except to piss me off! Once I'm done killing you I'll make my escape! *Fight begins* Maybe this fight would have a time limit of some kind, like "beat Zarth before the ship crashes"

Well, it really depends on whre the plot is going, how long this game is supposed to be, how many kbs or whatever the FPS is supposed to be, and how much time a team of 10 or less artists are putting into it.
I, like many, STILL do not know if this game even has a plot. If it does, how does it go, slap-happy silly (Newgrounds Rumble/Pico's Unloaded/Madness Combat) or serious-silly (Epic Battle Fantasy/Brawl Royale/XIN Series)?
Once that's established, a boss list is easy. But so far I'm gathering the suggestions...
TANK. (He's right, its built for a boss battle.)
Sheriff Worm. (I think it would also be funny if he were a LEVEL in of himself. See, there's this alternate dimension that the final boss resides in that only Sheriff's super durable high can harbor through, meaning that you must literally travel INSIDE of Sheriff Worm while he ferries you through dimensions, see? However, you come upon some turbulence and you're thrown all the way into his intestines, where stomach acids begin to ride upward being that Sheriff's stomach makes up 80% of his entire length, and you must race outside of Sheriff worm while fighting off Illidon Spawn or some manifestation of mini-Final Boss creatures that can be killed in 1 or 2 hits.)
(Think Earthworm Jim, guys.)
Error McJesus (The problem with this being that McJesus has to remove the halo himself if this were a finisher of his, something I've never seen him have the intention or lowered inhibition to do. A mini-boss makes more sense).
Illidon (Personally, I still don't like the idea, unless you guys are going to form a Brawl version of TheBehemoth and make like the next Castle Crashers. Not that I doubt you, but we're all leading increasingly busy lives as we grow up yes?).
Another thing. MVG could do a secret boss-like thing, now that I think about it. If he was bitter at the player character for doing something like defeating him earlier, he inevitably ends up "portaling" you to the secret boss area mid-cutscene. And the secret boss stage would be FILLED with portals that send you through different levels instantaneously, or just around the map.
EDIT toward Omnipresence:
I like the idea. But it might suffer from the same problem this does considering this is a flash game.

Start the game over but everything is 2 twice as hard as it was before.

I did it once in the Red vs Blue (vs Green) thread, I had QuickFeet snatch McJ's halo away and Error! proceeded to capture the flag in one picture which was goofy of me but w/e haha

Idea for a level. If we have some characters that are new to the site or something, perhaps we could have them trying out, one of the judges talks smack (which would be the character you play as), and the new guy gets into a fight. At the end we could have the judge say something like "You need work, but I think you could make in the big leauges."
Y/N?

Guys, can I be in the game? - DC

I know a guy who knows a guy who has an engine that could make a game compatible for the 360. Just wondering, but later on when the game is complete and we have our own web site and all that crap, would you like me to go ask the guy for the engine?
the 3 of us are friends, so there shouldn't be any problem with getting the engine. I just gotta ask one of them to ask the other because he moved and he has his contact info.
but this is only for when the game is %100 complete. or say if we update the game with more stuff after submiting it to newgrounds. like adding is the rest of the brawlers with all of them having unique story lines and all the other stuff we came up for the game earlier on.
Just a simple yes or no, I could get the Engine now and hang onto it if you guys think it's a good idea.
incase you guys ever decide to want to put this game into a consol.

And the only way to get the game on the xbox would be to mod it so only a select few could play it (I doubt it'd go on the market)... Aside from that it sounds ok..

I've had a little experience with XNA (the Xbox programing interface) and it's kind of a bitch to work with. If there's already an engine ready, that would be very helpful, but depending on how intricate (or simple) it is, it could be more trouble than it's worth. Also, I've already got a pretty good engine going for flash, and switching languages would definitely set us back considerably. I'd like more info on the engine, but with all the problems it might cause, I'm not sure how up for it I'll be.

Ok guys, for the first boss, Glass JobHades, we gotta make him REAL weak. We gotta make Hades look really smug and have the smallest, weakest fireballs ever. Ect ect.

He's gotta be insane though like from that thread in arena. and for fire balls, something like small fizzling sparks. Ok, i'll find out more about it. and we dont have to do it right now, maybe some time in the future when the game is finished, thats if every one's ok with it. We don't really need a game going to the 360, we are fine with the internets Alrighty then.

Something strange happened last night, I had a dream about this game, AND MY GOD DID IT EVER LOOK BAD ASS. I... I can't explain it It made Ng rumble look like shit. I wonder if it's a sign of the game to come... :3 It was like I was playing the game, but jumping from one part of the game to the next, seeing almost each and every map on the game, seeing all the brawlers that'll be included. IT WAS AMAZING Now I'm REALLY motivated to get this game out. it was so vivid

At some point at like, say, 7 floors it should loop so you see the same floor as if you had dropped in from the roof. That way it never ends.

Have voice actors been established? Because I would love to be voicing you all. Just give me the type of voice your character needs and I'll work on it until you think it sounds like your character. Or will anyone that has a mic voice their own brawler? Or is it just pure plain text?
